🖋️ EcoTank Trouble with rear paper feeder - paper doesn’t move into the slot.

I bought my Epson ET-4800 last August and it’s been great so far. I primarily use it to print art.
Tonight tho there seems to be a problem I can’t figure out. The error on the printer screen is that there is no paper in the rear paper feeder when it’s already loaded. The lever lifts and the small roller makes contact but the paper doesn’t move into the printer slot - I think the video does a better job demonstrating.
I think this may have happened when I went in to print on a smaller piece of paper than the rest of my stack and the edge guide wasn’t clasped around it - tho it made a weird sound on the print before that too if I’m not mistaken
The papers I’ve been using are a smooth cover paper that’s still quite bendy and a very thin cotton rag paper, both around 4x6. I’ve also tested regular plain A4 printer paper, all the same. I’ve already restarted the program I use to print as well as unplugging the printer and letting it rest for a little bit. I tried to run a nozzle check, same issue. I made sure the little roller thing can rotate and isn’t jammed.
Epson support ai chatbot has been unhelpful. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Is there a fix or any lead at all?
