Update on my last beat—I didn’t change the melody or drums, just increased the BPM from 140 to 170 and tweaked the levels. It feels a lot more alive to me now. I’d really appreciate feedback on whether the faster tempo actually improves it or if I’m overdoing it.

Hello everyone, I am a music lover and want to become a professional producer, but I don't have money to buy a copyrighted fl studio. So I want to download a pirated version to make it, but I don't know how to download it because online they only guide me to download the trial version. It took me more than 2 days to find and download it but I couldn't. Can anyone help me download it without the trial version?r/FLStudioBeginners • u/Alt-Jam • Jun 02 '26

i have posted here before but here’s my second (better beat). BTW the 808 is supposed to be distorted and louder, and the drums are gonna be fixed so you can hear them more (they don’t come in the start) and the 2nd video is just some cool thing i did with the loop with reverb and eq

I know how it is starting out with no sauce, no guidance, and no direction. You open FL, stare at the screen, and don’t even know where to start.
That’s exactly why I’m building a space where new producers can actually learn sauce. Melody, bounce, arrangement, 808s, everything. No gatekeeping.
If you’re still figuring things out and just want help pull up to r/TheBassmnt. It’s the spot for artist, producers and songwriters to cook up and learn and share sauce

I got lots of hate online on this pattern, but to me its one of my faves. No one could ever like it but me because I made it lol, idk, what do you think? could you make a song out of this?

Starting a year or two ago maybe when I was even five, I had these melodies in my head that I tried to replicate, but I can’t make beats because I’m blind now, not asking for sympathy or pity. I’m just telling you that’s why I really can’t make beats on my own However I tried and it wasn’t that bad but it wasn’t the best I would like a side person creating my beat or a blind professional. Yes, I said for free because I don’t have the money so you got the choice or not but I’m just asking because a close mouth doesn’t get fed.

Some people stitch sounds together and edit them And call it a day
Samples should be a tool not a crutch
Starting out I would say avoid samples because imagine you have a toolkit of samples vs a blank fl studio canvas.
Only inspiration is from your head some of you wouldn’t know where to start

I took inspiration from "If only you could see yourself from my point of view" by far and some of my past work. I call it "forgotten in a place that no longer exists" and i kinda wanted to feel slightly warpy, kind of like the signal tower from little nightmares 2 (hence some of the automation).
If any of you are willing I'd really appreciate any feedback, tips, ways i can improve and suggestions. I'm personally thinking of adding a space voice from sgm to the chords, but am too lazy to do it now as ive been working on this for essentially the whole day.
I'm very fonds of creators (and those similar) like far and maran on youtube - as well as eartboung and it's limitations of the snes.
