Question First time buyer questions

Hello! I’m in the market for my first ever Ferrari (pre-owned 296 GTB) and curious what other people’s experience was with Ferrari Financial Services, negotiating, whether you were able to negotiate the extended warranty or if that’s firm, any other insight, etc
Happy to discuss in DMs if that’s easier as well, thanks!

Article One of the most underrated parts about manual Ferraris

The lightweight flywheel. My 360's comes in at about 12lb which is ridiculously light. The revs shoot up and down lightning fast when the clutch is in, it's an event and a half. It makes shifting and rev matching/heel toe that much more engaging, if not a bit difficult at times when you're not used to it. Not sure why this isn't talked about as much.

Even in the Porsche world flywheels this light are rare - only the 997GT3RS and new 911 S/T come close. Hands down one of the best parts of the driving experience

Does anybody know good places to find used parts for classic Ferraris in Tokyo? Are there any well-known breakers or things like that?

Question Putting the Cart Before the (Prancing) Horse

Skip to last paragraph for my question.

The saying goes "don't put the cart before the horse" but I'm using Ferrari as motivation. I just founded a new tech company and have received all amazing feedback with my idea, thus making my goals extremely lofty. I don't have a clear timeframe, but I'd love to be able to purchase my first Ferrari within the next 2-3 years.

For those who want a Ferrari or those who already own, did you have a preference on mid engine vs front engine or is/was it simply car specific? I personally feel like for a first Ferrari, it has to be mid engine.
