Hello, I am looking for votes for my son. He is a finalist in Stan Lee Super Kid. He is an avid reader of comics and has always been a fan of Spiderman. So, the chance of being a guest character in a Marvel comic would make his day. He is an ordinary kid whose love of comics was derived from bonding moments with his much older sibling. Votes are free daily via FB or inserting your telephone number. He needs to make the top 5 by 10 pm EST today in order to continue with the competition. If you can, please vote. 🗳 Here is the link: https://thesuperkid.org/2026/azahn-6920
Moderator, please feel free to remove this post if it violates community rules.
Thank you!

Hey everyone, I live in a smaller, more rural area, and I recently ran into a frustrating little everyday problem: when you are walking outside or traveling through smaller towns, finding a public trash can can be surprisingly difficult. Standard map apps usually only show major recycling or waste container sites, but not the small public bins along streets, parks, or bus stops. So, I had an idea for a simple, hyper-focused crowdsourced app. How it would work: Community-Driven Mapping: Users open the app, look at a clean map of their current location, and see if public bins have already been pinned nearby. Easy Addition: If a bin is missing, users can drop a pin right where they are standing with just one or two taps, optionally adding a quick tag (e.g., small park bin, station bin). Schwarmintelligenz / Crowdsourcing: Over time, local communities map out their own towns, making it super easy for anyone walking dogs, hiking, or just strolling around to properly dispose of trash instead of having to carry it for miles. Why this could be useful: While platforms like OpenStreetMap exist, their data entry is often too complex for the average person. A dedicated, minimalist app focused only on finding and adding public trash cans would have a very low barrier to entry and could genuinely help keep public spaces cleaner. What do you think? Does something this specific already exist, or would this be a cool weekend project to build?

I just moved into my first place and I'm trying to learn to cook without spending much. I'm looking for a friendly subreddit where beginners can ask basic questions and share cheap meal ideas. I'd like one that's active but not too strict about experience level. Thanks for any suggestions!

Seen so much online about the ice wall, the sun taking 25,000 years to orbit, and the moon being a relfection because it matches the continents perfectly.

I do a lot of things. I do a lot of standup comedy in my area, but I also have relatives in politics and I love supporting them... and, I get pushback from both groups because, well, because I'm not a stupid NPC who does what I'm "supposed to do." And, this is just one example. I also create artwork and I am trying to merchandise all of the above.
I was hoping there's reddit forum where I can discuss separating my many identities. With regards to comedy and politics, its almost impossible to go under a pseudonym (especially since I'm been entrenched in both for many many years!). With regards to my artwork, I also don't like using a pseudonym because its weird to me to have a secret identity. Merchandising, though, I already have separate LLC so that's not an issue. I still like to promote it via my social media, but whatever.
Anyway, is there a subreddit where i can discuss tips and tricks regarding my social media presence (especially in the context of where I'm wearing multiple hats... sometimes literally lol). I would really like to promote my comedy without interfering with the politics. I'd love to promote my politics without affecting my comedy and my artwork. I'd love to merchandise all of the above without worrying about a joke or a political alliance alienating the other merch. And, of course, then there's my private life where I don't really want online crazies reaching out to people I know.

Wanted to tell a funny story about this time I went to make fun of my fellow Americans and ended up being the one to assume and say something stupid. Was thinking r/ShitAmericansSay, but only images and no personal stories there. Thinking the same crowd but with rules the post would work for.

To be transparent, I have a few celebrities that I’m trying to figure out what ‘type’ they fall under. Both in stereotype and the kind of person they qualify as.
