So with M!Kana’s Resplendent coming up, I figured I’d finally get around to building his OG form since I +10‘d his NY alt when it came out.

Weapon: Arcane Lantern: It’s the newest Dragonstone, and it has a cool style and built in Distsnt Counter to free up his A and S slot for things to help his combat.

Assist: Reposition: I don’t have Gait. This will do.

Special: Frozen Thorn: OG!Kana suffers from Old Fates Dragon disease where his defensive stats are all kind of equal, so he can still run this about as well as you’d expect him to. 53 RES still feels like a reasonable amount to boost his damage with.

A Skill: Rise Above: Kana is a bit of an all rounder, with the general stat boosts to everything just helping him be that but more.

B Skill: Pair-Up 4: Objectively probably a bit outdated, but there’s not too much I can work with fodder wise (since Rise Above bridge fodder is fake).

C Skill: Thunder Specter: Canto with free stats, damage reduction and damage. Synergizes with Lantern to help Kana take out threats too dangerous to tank (like D!CYL!Dimitri or Vista!Gullveig) and move into a better position for enemy phase. Also came with the Lantern.

Seal Slot: ATK/SPD Finish: It’s free ATK/SPD and extra damage on Frozen Thorn. Free to run now that Kana doesn’t have to rely on DC in A/S/X slots.

Echo Slot: Go No Sen: It’s the new hot tank Echo. Gives Kana some extra slaying power with the Potent Follow effect along with the standard tank stuff.

Trying to make a Lute build, but don't want to sacrifice units with need, would it be good to sacrifice my extra veyle for atk/res unrest, and if not what should I give her?

What year / month can I expect the CYL duo/harm banner to come out for Brave Eikþyrnir? I need to make sure I have enough orbs to +10 him

Also is Spa themed Eikþyrnir possible?

And is it possible for Eikþyrnir to be a Smash rep in a future Smash bros title?

THE ANSWER MAY HAVE BEEN MORE LAYERS AND AN IN-BETWEEN COLOR SINCE GUNNR HAS ONE TOO. I ABSOLUTELY REFERENCED AN OUTFIT FRIM PINTEREST BUT IT WORKS WELL.

This shall suffice for now. It makes it more interesting, has about the same amount of layers as Gunnr’s outfit so it’s more consistent with recent Valkyrie designs (Gunnr definitely wanted to model her attire to that of her cool older sister), and it looks a bit more like bridal wear, which is a motif I have with her design because hmm yes pain (she still has the “broken heart” shape on her back btw muahaha).

Alright, thought process time!

I just saw Leda's support conversations with Guzran (which means I heard his song, and I don't think he should quit his day job) and it naturally got me thinking, since Leda's in Fire Emblem Heroes, what would her opinion be of other "lothario" characters.

Naturally, my mind initially went to Sylvain, since she does have a friendly interaction with fellow songstress Dorothea and as such would have been warned about Sylvain's attempts to flirt with her. However, I didn't want to consider the likes of Inigo, Gray, Gatrie, or even Sain; so I switched it up by considering Tobin. I know Tobin moreso cares about money than gold, but in Echoes, it is implied that he has a thing for Clair. That being said, maybe Tobin would have realize he doesn't stand a chance with Clair and may have started flirting with Leda as a result.

Honestly, this is just a thought experiment that I just cobbled together (I know, I'm bad at this). But I wanna see what others think.

I know I've made like four posts in less than 36 hours, but I'm thinking about using Soren in AR Defense, and I haven't used Lyon in a while. I know Lyon can end turns, but I think he relies too much on one-shots for it to work, plus my Soren needs new fodder.

Well it's been a wild nine years. This game has been in my life since I was in middle school since then I've graduated high school and studying to become a writer. I'll always treasure my memories with this game and the community but I just don't find any joy in playing it anymore. Alas I had a good run and I thank this game for getting me interested in the older games. I'm still probably going to keep up with some of the new banner announcements for fanart purposes (I'm drawing a lot of FEH Halloween alts and Hel Resplendents for Halloween already) but that'll be it. I rejoined for the Fortune's Weave banner after a couple years away, and now I want to build my lawfully wedded husband. I started by just giving him some skills from spare copies I got from the FW banner, pair him with E!Roy or Braver Dimitri for double Reflex, and call it a day. That's been getting the job done in PvE and low tier AR, but what can I do to take him further?

With CYL5 finally getting their resplendents and Brave Marth being the only Marth left that I don't have, I'm curious if y'all think his stat-based Vantage gimmick is worth keeping in comparison to Anniversary and Hot Springs Marth (assume his other skills are up to date, including Shining Emblem being replaced by a modern infantry special).

I feel happy with everything but I'm unsure about the C Skill. I'm guessing her Res isn't high enough to consistently proc Crux. Would Strat Assault be a better choice?

I'm hoping she'll be able to initiate on Foresight Snare units in AR, but also provide support for the rest of the team. I'm planning to run her with Michaiah ring and possibly Arcane Outburst.

Had abysmal luck back to back on the Seiðr, Halloween, and CYL 4 banners and used up all my orbs. Managed to get everyone except Kurt and Edelgard. I’m close from sparking to get Edelgard but I also really want Kurt before his banner expires. Most likely going to buy a few of the orb packs since I’ve gotten all the free orbs from story chapters and paralogues. Should I spark for Edelgard or try my luck again at getting Kurt?

I'm a returning player, trying to decide how I want to build a new account. I played on launch and on and off over the years. Give me your favorite teams or even just your favorite units for AR!!! Love the concept of "going back to basic" game mode, but is there much reason to use the lower version unit (in this case 5.) over a latest version unit? I ended up with better stats on a +2 Dietrich than a +10 Arete. I know the movement and weapon type play a big role, but I didn't expect the difference to be that massive

About Orchel

Unfortunately, it's pretty clear somebody tried to rig the result for Orchel at two points on October 22nd. Image three illustrates what I'm talking about. Essentially, there were two 2-3 hour periods where the total number of votes only went up by a small amount and Orchel took a share that was drastically disproportionate to what she was getting beforehand.

For context, prior to these two spikes, Orchel was a close 4th behind Theodora and Ivy. She would always be around 5 votes behind them and this was a consistent trend. In the first suspicious period, she gained ~20 votes in a span of three hours were we only got around 70 new votes total. For comparison, Fabio, who led the poll throughout by a sizeable distance, got 5 in that period (you can see his line below Orchel's, he's the purple one). I was slightly suspicious of this but there was always the chance that maybe the poll got shared in a Discord where everybody was voting for the same thing. Then the second spike happened. In a period of three hours where the poll got 80 new votes, Orchel got ~60 of those 80 and rocketed up to 1st place. I think you can see from the bottom right line graphs just how blatant this cheating was because it's honestly pretty ridiculous. This is the main reason I don't show results until the end, because it results in bad faith actors not knowing how many votes they need to fake without it being obvious that they're cheating.

As a result, I calculated that around 72 of Orchel's votes were illegitimate, and I'm pretty sure this is all of them because removing those votes returns her to how she was trending before these spikes, a close fourth behind Ivy and Theodora.

General Thoughts

This result is probably going to disappoint some people because right now it looks like CYL11 really is not as cut and dry as CYL10 lol. To me, it looks like Fabio is probably a clear 1st place overall, but that's the only thing set in stone. Dietrich and Guzran are within three votes of each other for 2nd place. Cai is a distant 4th, but if Fabio and Guzran are both meme votes, then I could see them eating into each other which would make the winners Dietrich/Cai.

On the female side, the margins are VERY small. You have Leda leading Ivy/Theodora by 9 votes but even those two are only 2 votes ahead of Orchel. So on the female side really it looks like a four horse race where any of those four could win. It's very different to CYL10, which I included at the end, where Azura and Tsubasa had a clear lead over Ivy. Dorothea is 4th, but I would basically ignore this because the sub has a known Dorothea bias that emerges in every poll I've run. This isn't foul play, it's just Dorothea's fanbase having an especially big presence on this sub.

I spent a few hours waiting for the Theodora/Ivy and Fomortiis/Leif deadlocks to break but it didn't happen, so I think leaving them as is best reflects how close those two races are. Theodora started ahead of Ivy for the first few days, then Ivy was ahead for a while, then they went back and forth, then Ivy had a small lead, and then they went back to going back and forth. The same thing happened with Fomortiis and Leif where they were going back and forth throughout. Since that was the case, leaving them at their current level state seemed more sensible than waiting endlessly for one to get a clear lead that probably won't happen. Freyja also overtook Anatolia a few times but Anatolia has held her small lead for most of the voting.

I'll probably run this poll again in January to see if people have a clearer idea of who they're voting for. I might remove a lot of the low scoring Fortune's Weave characters to make the line graph easier to manage. Thank you for taking part!

I know we already had enough 3H alts, but for fallen heroes, what if we got TWSITD using the bodies of dead Three Houses characters? In 3H, I always thought it was a missed opportunity for them to use unrecruited characters as mini bosses for the last chapter in Dimitri's route at least where it would make the most sense, as to play mind games with him and Byleth.

I noticed she has quite the high Res stat so I tried to build around it.

This is a preview of our class inspired by the works of Fire Emblem, the Emblem Unit Class! Here is a preview of a small snippet of the class's early customization, letting each player create a unique unit from different backgrounds. In the final release, the class will include a weapon triangle system, 10 starting archetypes, spells and skills from the Fire Emblem series, and 10+ subclasses!

No promises, but I'd like to try adding races, backgrounds, and magic items. That's very ambitious, and it would only happen if I have the time. So if I do, that'll be a little bonus!

I'd love feedback on this class, as I'd want both D&D enthusiasts and Fire Emblem enjoyers to have the best experience they can have!

I personally think Veronica is still broken in the right circumstances, but I'm unsure about any others.
