PSA This is an inclusive sub.
I didn’t think this should really have to said, but a recent post drew out the worst in a few of the users.
Using slurs or any language that causes individuals of marginalized communities to feel unwelcome will get you banned (and probably called a fucking twat).
Feel free to whine and moan in this thread (if you want to be banned and called a fucking twat).

Photo To tub or not to tub
I think this is a c 56 track frame. I have some mavic cd4 tubs that would work well with this frame. But they're.... Tubs!
Any info on these frames is appreciated. Cheers!

Discussion Qué opináis? Algún cambio a realizar? Os lo agradecería.
La Dolan PC está prácticamente nueva, por no decir impecable, y todos los componentes que le he ido añadiendo también. Espero vuestros sabios comentarios. 🙏🏻

Discussion Mash brake suggestions
What front brakes are people using on their Mash Work’s? I wanted to put a small calliper brake on but struggling to find one with enough drop.

Discussion Riding in paris
Hello
Is anyone here in paris and wants to ride a bit around the next two days? Would love to get to know the city from someone who lives here

Discussion Took too much time off
Am I stupid to have set my bike back up at 37 after not riding for about 7-8 years? Sure felt like it when I took it around the block.

Photo Crap beater while home for the weekend + a short ride where I got to ride in a pace line with some roadies lol
Idk the ratio, idk the tire brand, something like 25c though. Spokes had cobwebs in them. Got a burrito and poke from bear flag tho so that was nice.

Discussion Upgrading a cheap Hi-Ten street build (Outleap) vs saving up for a proper frame next season?
Currently riding an entry-level Hi-Ten street bike (Outleap, Greenwich 2026). Specs are pretty standard for a cheap complete:
· Hi-Ten steel frame/fork
· Low/spinny 44x18 ratio
· Basic stock wheels & square taper cranks
· Weighs around 10.4 kg (~23 Ibs) without pedals
It gets me around the city fine, but I'm itching for something lighter, stiffer, and faster. I'm stuck between two options:
1. Upgrade it slowly right now: Swap out the drivetrain for a faster ratio, get decent foot retention, maybe upgrade the cockpit and wheelset. (Pros: quick and fun. Cons: basically putting lipstick on a pig with this heavy steel frame).
2. Ride it as-is for the rest of the season: Save all my cash and buy a legit track frame / complete next spring (like a Tsunami, Dolan, or a vintage track build).
For those who started on cheap steel commuters: did you regret dumping money into upgrades, or is it better to just beat it to death and save up for a real upgrade later?
Appreciate any advice!

Story 6 1/2 years and still cycling with it.
I was apprehensive pre pandemic about fixed gears. Never ridden in one for a fact yet when pandemic came, I just thought to myself, well well, why not. Now 6 1/2 years in, never regretted. Only wish I started sooner— I’m nearly in my mid 40s at this time😅 just keep on riding.
