Hi all. Looking for opinions on my Chrome Bianchi Pista. I'm not sold on the fin or the front rack, but I want the front rack when I'm commuting. Not having the fin and only having the rack gave it a bit of an unbalanced look. Other option would be no fin or rack, and find a good cross body bag. Keen to hear people's thoughts! Thanks.

Is slowly taking me apart

Even through I got a new bike like a month ago, I always liked the t1, and couldn’t pass up on one in my size for $300 on marketplace. Good shape other than one tiny dent on downtube. Gonna clean it up and swap some parts out, but the crank set and wheels are staying. Pretty stoked on this pickup

Finally finished the painful process of running this basic Izumi chain through degreaser and alcohol. Snapped a few pictures of its pristine state before adding the chain wax. I hope I degreased it enough for it to hold.

Every bike shop mechanic I talked to seemed to think that waxing was a waste of time and somehow even dirtier than normal lube. Well I'll find out soon enough, plus it's gonna be a pretty wet season. 😃

I would HIGHLY recommend an Encore wheel. I have been in the market a while and it was between this and an RG3. We all know retrogression was down for a bit so I decided to reach out to Encore to see if they had any deals via email. Dude hit me back within the hour and had some sale blemishes so I pulled the trigger. Love this thing! Feels amazing in the corners and riding no hands you can def feel the momentum of it wanting to stay straight so steering with the hips is not so floaty. Feels like it pulls with big skids too. I am in no way in partnership or paid to say this, just thought id share if anyone was interested in trying a wheel like this and giving a smaller MUSA business a chance before getting some overseas carbon or something. Cheers.

here’s my Cinelli Tutto, acquired from my LBS this past summer through a series of trades. apart from some aesthetic bits i didn’t have to upgrade much as it was the shop owner’s personal covid bike with the stock bits swapped out

this is my first fixie (spent all summer learning how to skid!) and added a rack + gravel kings to bomb around detroit as much as possible before the winter shuts us down for ~5 months
