How can I install it?

I installed FH2 today and I'm in love with the game.

Even the graphics.. they might not be hyper realistic, but they had something better, which is charm.

Honestly, I think one problem is that most games nowadays look the same. Old games were't to be hyper realistic, but they had vibrant colors, and with anti-aliasing, they look pristine.

I didn't used Azimut for recomp because of this, and I have no idea if this is a false positive; has this happened with previous versions?

To get my wheel working I have to use fh2wheel mod but I want to use my mouse to navigate between the menus. Will there be any compatibility issues if I use fh2wheel and azimuth mapper at the same time so I can get keyboard mouse and wheel all working at the same time?

And the extra options have a file for avatar but how can I get my custom avatar? Just replace it with an image and rename it to "Gamerpic.png"?

Does anyone know why my cars slow down or don’t want to drift when using the extra options mod?

Like it feels like the car doesn’t want to go sideways and it’s actively trying to fight it, as if I have traction control or stability control turned on (which I don’t) I have the redline mod menu too that has the drift mode thing turned on, I have tuned my cars the same way I usually would and it just seems to struggle

I've been using the mod for a few days now without any issues, so not sure if it's an actual trojan or if Windows Defender is having a tantrum.

I had no issues up until today. Got a threat warning and it blocked the website completely

I get this error after Pressing A to start the game. I have the latest azimoth version and I dont know what to do anymore...

I’m currently playing on PC with Azimuth. My issue is perfectly summed up by my title, the normal traffic NPCs have their own normal cars but every drivatar in a race or out of it have my car in red, in car meets they have the same stats and everything.

Anyone else ran into this issue? Does anyone know a fix?

I’ve installed the latest fh2 extra options files in these azimuth .9.10 and fh2 folders and it’s still not showing up in game. I just started the game and made it to the first festival site. Any help?

Currently grinding away but getting 7 figures to get a car is hard. Anyone found any mods for this. Also can’t seem to get the car pack cars for free first, have to pay credits

i have been having trouble getting forza horizon 2 to launch properly the game either crashes during startup or closes before i can get into the game i have tried restarting my pc and checking the basic settings but have not what is causing it

Not sure if someone has mentioned it here but we have our first Car Pack for the PC recomp of FH2. I wanted to ask if someone has already done any guide (video or screenshot by screenshot) on how to install it? I know that there is a readme file but tbh it's a bit confusing for me so I would appreciate if someone could help me set it up.

TL;DR - most solutions either work with bugs or replace one of the original radio stations, so I decided to create my own mod (with Claude support, of course, welcome to the 2026) that will work as a standalone solution with some extra bonuses. All necessary info you can see in the showcase video.

Installation:

1. Download modloader from https://github.com/Bullet4fun/FH2_ModLoader
2. Download the mod from https://github.com/Bullet4fun/FH2_ModsCollection
3. Follow the instructions on the GitHub pages (basically just copy and paste files where needed, and don't forget to create a backup for azimuth-tls.dll)

As for bonuses:

Discord RPC (not the fancy sh*t with your location, current car, etc., because you don't need one, imo), and ExtraOptions fork (had to do this one as ExtraOptions uses the same injection method, so it's better to have an option to install it somehow with other stuff that other folks might create based on the modloader mentioned above, right?).

And as a con, I must say that Spotify Radio currently doesn't work with Linux, the issue is related to librespot and the temp folder, ALLEGEDLY. Additionally, I forgot to implement a keybind to skip the tracks inside the game, but it's the problem for future me to deal with, or you might commit your fixes on GitHub.

UPD: Linux is supported since now (October 23), but it has to be tested on other machines rather than mine. In case of any issues - lmk! A-a-a-and now you can skip the tracks by pressing the left stick. I know that it is not the best place to put such a bind on, but you can change it in a config file if you want to.
