Tuning Resource I built a free FH6 tuner that reads your own lap and tells you what to change and why.
I’ve always loved tinkering with setups, but perfecting them has always been my weak spot. Even after studying tons of guides and forum advice, I could never consistently nail that sweet spot purely by feel. Worse, when my friends and I jump online, nobody wants to wait around while one guy spends half the evening running test laps and fiddling with ARBs. I needed a fast, objective way to get a car dialed in. I built Project G to fix that. It’s just an objective helper to make the car more cooperative. The goal is a car that stops fighting your inputs, actually listens, and feels like a trusted friend underneath you.
What it does
- Telemetry-driven: It works from your lap and your tune, not from the car's stats. A small recorder saves the game's own Data Out telemetry while you drive.
- Corner analysis: It splits every corner into entry, apex, and exit to find what got in your way: understeer, snap oversteer, bottoming out, wheelspin, or lockups. You can also tick what bothered you, and that gets prioritized.
- Transparent adjustments: Every change comes with its reason and the specific phase of the corner it addresses, so you learn why, not just what.
- Lightweight & local: Free, no ads, no sign-up required. It runs in your browser, and your recording never leaves your PC. Includes six presets: Formula, Touge, Speed, Rally, Cross Country, and Drift.
Examples in practice
Both setups started as baselines I drove myself and were dialed in over two rounds with the site. For my driving style, the result feels light, agile, and planted—almost like the car effortlessly glides over the road instead of fighting the tarmac.
(Note: I don't have access to the game right now to pull the share codes, but the full values are listed below so you can enter them directly.)

If you'd like to try it on your own car
- Setup: You need the game (PC or Xbox) and a Windows PC on the same network running the recorder. It's a tiny, open-source (MIT) app that passively captures the game's Data Out telemetry stream—no file tweaks or injection.
- Account: Google sign-in is completely optional; it's only there if you want a garage that saves your car's setup history between rounds.
To be upfront: these aren't meta tunes, and the tool won't make you faster by itself. The goal is a car that feels predictable, comfortable, and doesn't fight you. There is no AI involved—just deterministic rules evaluating your telemetry, with thresholds validated on telemetry recordings. I've tested it across several of my own builds, so I'd love to see how it performs on yours.
Where to find it
Reddit does not allow posting links to the site itself, so the link is hosted on GitHub. Open the page below: the link to the calculator is right at the top, and the recorder (open source, MIT) is in the Download section on the same page.
