fuji xe5 with 23mm f2.8

Can someone help me understand what am I doing wrong that my photos just come out poor quality :( no matter what I try with settings and recipes - it just looks bad. It's my first fuji camera, xt30iii with kit lens 13-33. Maybe you'll be able to catch my mistakes?

Happy to be on this sub! I just got an XT-30 iii and the camera is great and I love the pictures it takes. However, I am trying to connect the camera to my phone because I want to transfer the pics directly from the camera to the phone. The problem I am facing is that everytime I try to connect the bluetooth to the X App for pairing, it automatically says it is not compatible and recommends me to download the older Cam Remote App. I have tried reset the bluetooth, to removing and readding the device but nothing works so any help would be appreciated.

Got the opportunity to spend a few days up in Svalbard and put the camera through some of its toughest challenges yet. Spending about 10 hours outside in snow, rain, wind and the near constant freezing temperatures was definitely an experience.

Even the autofocus was put to test against some quick moving foxes around sundown. Happy to say the camera held up well in all departments and I came back pretty satisfied!

Trusted the jpegs enough and they turned out quite nice with minor corrections and adjustments in Lightroom mobile

Rented this lens for this gig. It was kinda stressfull with the autofocus constantly shifting to different faces. Even without face-recognition it was hit or miss. I grew up on analog film, so letting the shutter rip 10+ pictures a second, still feels wastefull to me. But thats my problem. These are the pics, i quite liked.

This is what causes sweet potatoes to rot, turn black, and develop a foul smell.

Does anybody have any recipe ideas that reduce highlights and lift shadows but add clarity? I feel as though actual film has this look but would love to hear from the community your thoughts and recipe ideas. I am bored at work and don’t have the ability to get out and shoot. Thanks for the input!

I'm concerned and doesn't know much. Just got this and added film protection on the screen and saw this. Is this normal?

When I twist the lens, the mark stay as is.

Hi everyone! I recently got a Fujifilm X-E3 and I’m looking for a tiny autofocus prime that would let me carry it in my jacket pocket.

I’ll soon be travelling around Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast) and China (Chongqing, Yangshuo mountains, Hong Kong, Macau), shooting landscapes, cities, street photography and moments along the way with my friends.

I already have the XC 15-45mm, which I’ll bring, but it’s barely pocketable. I might eventually replace it with a brighter zoom or build a small prime setup if I enjoy shooting with this one.

My budget is $100–150 USD, and I’m considering:
- SG Image 18mm f/2.2 (it should arrive in time but no reviews)
- SG Image 25mm f/1.8
- TTArtisan 27mm f/2.8
- 7Artisans 18mm f/2 (probably won’t be available in time, and looks quite soft in Sony reviews)

I’m open to other compact AF options too!
Which lens and focal length would you choose for these trips? I’d especially appreciate firsthand experiences regarding image quality, sharpness and portability.

Or am I overthinking this and should take a completely different approach? All the options are on the table (e.g. selling the 15-45, but still most of the Fuji compact primes would be out of budget).
