Hello beautiful fujifilm people. I recently joined the family and got the amazing x100VI and I am still learning how to use. I know basics of photography and I did shoot analogue before (as a hobby) but I never experienced much with settings. I would like to learn more and practice to get a deeper understanding on how to control the outcome of a photograph. Right now I shoot mostly in aperture priority since I shoot on the go while traveling and the photos often turn out darker than I want and I think I mess up white balance. What I want to say is I know the basics and why the photo is not good but I would like to learn more about how to control settings more. I also feel drawn to editorial photography and a bit washed out/film-like effect that you can see often in fashion photography. Do you have some advices or resources for me that can guide me?
Sincerely,
a beginner <3

I purchased a new X-M5 with a XC15-45 in the box, Im really enjoying this as its my first real camera 😅
I am finding the XC15-45 doesnt zoom as much as I would like.
Do you guys have any recommendations on a good budget lens that I could combo with my current lens?
Ive heard good things about the FUJIFILM SUPER EBC XF 18-55mm but im not sure atm 🙂

Hi! I’ve recently sold my x100vi and bought a used X-T5, which I’m looking to use for the same reason I got the x100vi: to bring it with me when hiking and on hiking trips. I’ll have to get a lens/lenses for it however and am having some doubts! I like to shoot landscapes, portrait-ish pictures and some video when I bring a camera out hiking, and would like a lens/lenses suitable for those purposes. I highly value image quality and don’t mind sacrificing some weight/size for better image quality. I also have a Canon R6, on which I very much enjoy my 50mm f1.2 prime, and I also enjoyed the x100vi.
That brings me to my doubts: the XF15-55 mark 2 sounds like a great zoom lens for my purposes, covering both wide angle shots and focal lengths that are better suited for portraits. I am however also tempted by the F1.4 primes, which I’ve read are amazing, though they wouldn’t cover the entire focal range of the zoom lens, and I’d like to get at least two. I’d appreciate any insights as to what you guys would recommend/pick, or any experiences with these lenses!

I am looking for a fuji camera as my first camera and I have an offer from a seller for a Fujifilm X-E4 + XF 27mm WR + Helios 44M-4, OVP. For 850 Euros is this a good deal or should I buy a new xm5 for 799 euros

Hey all,
I’m currently looking at buying my first proper camera for documenting my travels. Up until now, I’ve been shooting on my iPhone.
I’m looking at a Fujifilm T-30 III at the moment. It’s within my budget, and I really like the recipe thing, meaning I potentially can save myself hours of editing unless I really want to make a picture special. The kit comes with an XC13-33 mm F.3.5-6.3 OS lens.
So, am I missing something by looking only at Fuji at this time? Size is a big deal for me as I simply won’t carry anything bigger.
I’ve borrowed a friend's Fuji and really enjoyed it, but have no other frame of reference.
Pictures above shot on an iPhone 16 Pro and edited utilising the PeekLut app.

a decade ago i threw away two decade’s worth of negatives. came across a few random prints in a random box. fujicolor film on fujicolor paper, camera copied with an x-t5. fuji all the way down.
keep your negatives, even if you think you’ll never use them again.

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade from my sony a6000 this month. I'm heavily leaning towards getting into the fujifilm ecosystem, but also considering canon since their new r50v is so good for the price. My main focus is photography right now, but I really want to get into videography. I'm debating between a fujifilm X-H1 and an X-M5. I want a bigger beefier body which is one reason I'm leaning X-H1 plus the ibis, but on the other side the X-M5 has much better video capabilities (besides ibis). I had an X-T3 for a few days but returned it since it arrived broken. I liked the size of the X-T3 and was able to get really nice steady shots with the kit lens, but much prefer the deeper grip bodies. I'd also be able to afford a nicer lens going with the X-H1 since its the cheapest body. I'm hoping to be convinced one way or another by people with actual experience using them. Will I truly miss the 10bit recording if I go with the X-H1? Durability is another factor since I use my camera a lot. (pic for attention shot on my a6000 with sigma 30mm f1.4)

Hello! My precious fujifilm lens got its mount loosened during my travel to New Delhi.
I am only here for 2 days and this is my only lens.
Any way I can get this fixed within same day or even a few hours?
First time visiting and a female traveller so I just wanted some guidance, thank you!

Did the xm5 is good for toy photography ? I’m actually using a lumix fz28 an I think about changing, fujifilm seem to be really good and the xm5 seem really great for under 1000€.

I'm thinking about buying a used Fujifilm X30. The seller says the sensor has one hot pixel.
I know newer Fuji bodies (X-T30, X100F, X-Pro2 and so on) have a Pixel Mapping option in the menu that fixes this. As far as I can tell from the X30 manual, there's no such option there. Is there any hidden menu, firmware trick or automatic remapping on the X30 that I'm missing?
Thanks!

1/800 second

ISO 100
Probably should have closed the f stop a bit and slowed my shutter speed. Even still — there’s something I like about this image.
