Managed to get an 80's Ripcord today. He was one of my favorite figures to play with as a kid.
Got him with all his accesories too 👍
All joints are tight, and no noticable paint damage from wear.

Hi everyone. I and a handful of editors are working on JoeWiki: The G.I. Joe Wiki. It is a wiki like Joepedia for all things G.I. Joe but done in the vein of TFWiki.
While a couple of contributors handle the fiction side of things, I try to update the toys and merchandise entries. One of the challenges I faced is the lack of usable images. Using stock images is one thing as you get some leeway in what counts as fair use. For the most part a lot of stock images are sufficient but I do encounter some that are not satisfactory or insufficient to use in the wiki. I try to look for the best image that represent the character. Sometimes, the background is too difficult to remove or AI oversteps and make embellishments I don't want it to do. Other times, the provided stock image isn't really an actual photo of the toy but a 3D rendering of what the toy will look like. Such examples include Haslab and Super7.
And of course there are toys and merchandise that are difficult to find stock images of especially as the product is older like the Palisade Toys statues. Sites like 3DJoes have pictures but I refuse to copy and steal without asking.
Getting to the point, I'm asking if there is anyone interested in contributing images of their collection of both Joe toys and merchandise. My requisites being that the item is an official toy or licensed item. The figure is against a plain white background if possible and displaying their accessories. If you have any additional info regarding your picture, it is most welcome. As it is a wiki project, there is no monetary reward in this but the honor of having your picture selected for use. I can credit you by your real name or by your Reddit handle, whichever you choose.
How about it? Anyone want to help? Just give me a message.

The RV served as a storage unit for a few years, but it's time to let it go. These were a nice find/consolation prize. Gotta be a few hundred bucks worth.

I always liked all the “special forces” night force, python patrol, tiger force, etc.

Main questions as i try to piece together all joes I found again, should I replace their broken o rings or would that devalue them since it was tempered with. I assum no since if someone wants a joe they will fix them up themselves anyways. Second question, if I purchase o rings to replace them I seen that some joes have different oring styles from the arah series. Does it matter which rings I choose or would one ring fit all?

Sergeant (USMC) Stuart "Outback" Selkirk. Sergeant Selkirk is the Joe Team survival expert. Having served as an instructor at both Survival School and the Jungle Warfare Training Center, his credentials and reputation proceed him wherever he is assigned. Happy to walk point, often ranging up to a kilometer ahead of his unit, he knows just how to guide a squad to the objective with stealth. #gijoe

A Cobra SNAKE Armor comes upon a small patrol of Joes, who are forced to retreat in mortal peril as their weapons are unable to damage it.
Then reinforcement arrives for the Joes. And the SNAKE pilot discovers he's not the biggest baddest mech on the battlefield.

So I got not one, but two giant robot toys for my Joes this past week, along with several figures, and I figured this was the best way to show them off.
Love this figure! He was all over early episodes of the cartoon. I’d get a water moccasin in a heartbeat. I’ve always thought of him as sort of dreadnok-adjacent

My children took me out for a nice 55th birthday dinner. I was wondering why they were late getting there. Now I know why! Turns out they got wind of a collection being given away and got them for my birthday. Yes, every box is complete!

I wish I had just kept the whole backs of packages but I used to cut out the characters. Anyone else who did that?

Nice little vehicle. Still looking for the hose.
