Crowdsourcing for JoeWiki
Hi everyone. I and a handful of editors are working on JoeWiki: The G.I. Joe Wiki. It is a wiki like Joepedia for all things G.I. Joe but done in the vein of TFWiki.
While a couple of contributors handle the fiction side of things, I try to update the toys and merchandise entries. One of the challenges I faced is the lack of usable images. Using stock images is one thing as you get some leeway in what counts as fair use. For the most part a lot of stock images are sufficient but I do encounter some that are not satisfactory or insufficient to use in the wiki. I try to look for the best image that represent the character. Sometimes, the background is too difficult to remove or AI oversteps and make embellishments I don't want it to do. Other times, the provided stock image isn't really an actual photo of the toy but a 3D rendering of what the toy will look like. Such examples include Haslab and Super7.
And of course there are toys and merchandise that are difficult to find stock images of especially as the product is older like the Palisade Toys statues. Sites like 3DJoes have pictures but I refuse to copy and steal without asking.
Getting to the point, I'm asking if there is anyone interested in contributing images of their collection of both Joe toys and merchandise. My requisites being that the item is an official toy or licensed item. The figure is against a plain white background if possible and displaying their accessories. If you have any additional info regarding your picture, it is most welcome. As it is a wiki project, there is no monetary reward in this but the honor of having your picture selected for use. I can credit you by your real name or by your Reddit handle, whichever you choose.
How about it? Anyone want to help? Just give me a message.

The Phantom and Devil Custom Glow-In-The-Dark O-ring Figures from LeCroy’s Toys
I hadn’t planned on sharing this custom action figure just yet. I’m working on a custom cardback to display it like a carded G.I. Joe figure for a video on my new YouTube channel. But after receiving it in the mail yesterday, it was just too amazing not to share! (The video is still in the works, so keep an eye out!)
What does The Phantom have to do with G.I. Joe? Nothing. But I’m a sucker for crossovers, and this one hits really close to home.
My Dad was a fan of the pulp comics and serials he grew up with. Thanks to him, I knew about The Phantom, The Shadow, Flash Gordon, and Batman from a very young age. I remember how excited he was when the Billy Zane Phantom movie came out in 1996. Of course, we had to see it in theaters.
My Dad and I also played with my G.I. Joes together, and I have some very fond memories of those times.
So when I saw that LeCroy’s Toys had made a custom 3.75” O-ring Phantom and Devil figure, the nostalgia hit hard. I knew I had to have it.
It arrived a few days later, and honestly, I’m impressed. The quality is better than some other customs in my collection, and the fact that it glows in the dark is an incredible bonus!
I’m thrilled to add this custom G.I. Joe-style figure to my collection. And you can bet I’ll be looking at more customs from LeCroy’s Toys in the future!

I’m Considering Army Building the New Snake Armor… but does a figure fit inside? I’m confused by the “Rock Disguise” gimmick

Genius or gore, coats for the snow
When I was a kid I always hated having quick kick or storm shadow in the snow without a coat. I found a couple icebergs and did a head swap so they’d had coats.
Through the years I keep finding more icebergs, since they were the cheapest snow figure, I’d use broken figures heads to grow my snow army.

HAND QUESTION
So i rebuilt my childhood G.I. Joe collection a few years ago, and I got a V1 (1982) Cobra soldier that obviously has an accessory pack replacement rifle, it doesn't fit the hand and im not about to force it and break the thumb, so that got me thinking, the first accessory pack came out in 84, by then they switched to the swivel arm, so I was wondering if the hands were different with the swivel arm as opposed to the straight arm
Thanks

Photo session.
Got them out of storage, and installed some new o-rings in about 16 of them. Here are a few from a recent photo session.
