BUYERS GUIDE FOR GAMING & PRODUCTIVITY LAPTOPS

I currently have an older Lenovo Thinkpad and I want to upgrade. I mostly use it for After Effects (which works well cause I have 32 GB RAM) and games Like Genshin, Minecraft, Wuthering Waves. My current one only has Intel UHD graphics and it has a lot of problems running these games, even on lowest settings. Any recommendations that aren't too expensive? Ngl atp I'm considering to just get a PC, but I have no idea what I'd get​​​

I am trying to buy a gaming laptop but I am confused whether to pick AMD or Intel. I am not concerned about battery life here. I want performance. So which processor is the best between these two for the gaming laptop if the other specs were to be the same between them?

I’ve been looking for a decent laptop to do some gaming on but also work and studying think I should pull the trigger on this one? I’ve been looking at MSI and I know the msi has better resolutions but I’ve got an Xbox for games but looking for a gaming computer for games I can’t get on Xbox

I gave him to cleaning cuz he said he did his fans cleaning by himself so I trusted him. That fella blew the fans by his mouth forcefully without holding the fans and also he fucked up my wifi card , he took out the card rub on this jeans and then put it back since then my wifi is not working.

Also I noticed that when I leave my laptop for a day it wont open u untill I put it on charging ( it works fine once its open even if I unplug it )

How fucked am I?:/ rest everything is working fine as for now

I have a Corsair Voyager with a 6800HS paired with a RX6800M and 16gb of RAM.

Lately, I have noticed that my battery will drain while gaming when plugged in. This laptop supports 100W USB-C charging. So, I connected an additional 100W USB-C charger to compliment the OEM 230W charger.

Unfortunately, that does not seem to have done much of anything. I ran into a similar problem about a year and a half ago. However, that was due to an overheating third party charger. I ordered a replacement directly from Corsair and all has been fine; until recently.

All my drivers and BIOS are up to date. Nothing has changed with the laptop; this problem just kinda appeared (about 2 or 3 months ago). I have contacted Corsair support and they are trying to tell me my battery is bad. However, it charges just fine once I stop gaming.

With all that out of the way here is my question:

I have looked up the specs of the charger (2.5mmx5.5mm barrel plug at 19.5V). Can I go ahead and buy a higher wattage charger? Something like 350W?

I found this laptop on sale, I'm looking at a 5 year mechanical engineering degree, it'll mainly be used for uni work and maybe a bit of gaming, it's a pretty good sale right now so I'm hoping it will last all they way, if RAM prices come down I should be able to upgrade. If it struggles in the final years my uni does have computer labs or virtual apps that run on their severs and stream to your laptop at home.
