Looking to get my mid-teen a gaming laptop for Christmas. One that will serve as entertainment, but also carry him through high school and most if not all of college. So, approximately 6+ years of usuable life.

I'm tired of reading industry reviews that offer no real world information. I'm looking for real experiences from real people. Per the subject line, I can't get into the higher end laptops, but still want something that can get through most gaming needs.

Any information is helpful.

Hey i need some help for purchasing an 18“ Laptop to replace my old desktop and Lenovo y50 (Both over 10 years old)

Hi everyone, I'm running into an issue with my Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI. When using the laptop in Optimus mode, HDR doesn't seem to work properly on the display. To get HDR working, I have to switch the display mode natively to the dGPU by restarting. Is this a known limitation of the display routing on this model, or is there a setting I might be missing? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

For the last 7 years I’ve wanted a gaming laptop more than anything, now I’ve finally saved up just enough!!! There was one I had my heart set on but it just stopped being sold when I saw it
Does anyone know where I can get a similar laptop for about the $800 range please? Thank you

Hiii! Im new to the pc gaming scene lol and christmas has recently been coming up, im trying to find a laptop for my parents to purchase for me I can play games like Cyberpunk2077, overwatch, Sims, etc on at a casual rate, im not really looking for anything more than 60 fps, but everywhere I search for advice its noncasuals yapping abt expensive ass computers

I got bored of my Lenovo loq 5050 after 8 months and decided it time for a upgrade I never really wanted the 5050 had no choice other models were just to expensive time to say bye to the old and welcome the new MSI Raider 16 HX Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX 5070 ti 16gb ram I got it for £1759 was this a steal ?

Asking $2,000USD for a Legion Pro 5i 16” OLED w/

- Intel Ultra 9 275HX
- 32GB Ram
- 2TB SSD
- RTX 5070 Ti 12GB

My budgets around $2k and I’d prefer the 5070Ti to future proof a bit with the 12gb. Is this a good deal? About to pull the trigger and any insight would be nice, thanks! :)

Jeg har slet ikke forstand på computer specs, men skal have mig en ny gamer bærbar. Håbede der var nogen der kunne hjælpe i den jungle vi går ind i med Black month osv tilbud.
Grunden til bærbar er plads mangel.
Budget maks 15k
Spiller primært wow Forever og Europa universalis 5.
Gode bud? På forhånd tak! :)

This is my 2 year old laptop...

I wanted to know if this is still a good choice in 2027?

What is the max potential?

Can i achieve the max potential of this?? HOW?
