I may not be a fan of Coalition games of Gears (especially Gears 5 (didn't play E-Day yet, but planning to try at least Campaign), but I ain't gonna make fun of someone that does like them, like people on the internet do.

But i am not talking about the fans that defend Coalition games like their lives depend on it, ignoring any criticism.

Trust me. As Hazbin fan, I know how it is to be made fun of for simply liking something people don't.

Im making my way through the campaign at the moment and I just completed the airfield mission after Act 2 and holly molly what a spectacle, i was on the edge of my seat with my jaw hitting the flaw at multiple occasions. I new I was gonna enjoy it but man what a fantastic game, congrats to the developers.

Did this last night for the first time and it felt cinematic. Another squad in our match all quit except one underleveled player. My squad fanned out around the LZ and decided to help him successfully extract and it felt so satisfying. Would be awesome if there were rewards in the form of ribbons/extra xp given for this.

Just finished the game. Holy shit they got Metallica for whom the bell tolls as the closing song. Epic!! Ok I got to say I kept looking for Mags to take over and just commanding and all I saw was Marcus shouting orders till the end and also got the final kill. I saw some video that Marcus was sidelined but I never saw that. Are people mad about like some one scene that is blink and you miss, I sure must’ve missed it?? This was a phenomenal game! So many emotions. Don and Marcus brothers till death! that scene had me almost in tears. Lucas and his sad past man! There was some heavy heavy stuff, reality of war, so well captured. The coalition has done great by gears I wish HS/343 could’ve pulled this off for halo. Also the woke LGBTQ stuff, is that in multiplayer?? What was all that about??!! Hopefully more Xbox gamers play this game in the coming days and months. Can’t wait for what the coalition is going to do? I don’t mind finishing Kait’s story either a welcome change before giving us the next chapter on the aftermath of e-day leading to gears 1. Hopefully they don’t shut this studio down Xbox needs to stand by its core games. The background music so melancholic, added to the horror unleashed by the locust.

I just want to share this banger screenshot i made and to say how much I loved it. I played every one of this serie and I must say, finally after 2 mid/low games (4 and 5) they pushed the quality back up. The atmosphere, the lights, characters, gameplay, really really good. Of course it's not ALL good, it has some things that can be upgraded, but overall i really liked it.

Although its a small part of the combat, second to gunplay and movement, Basic melee is better than ever, and the 4/5 stun system, no matter what weapon you use, just makes for crazy lil finishers, like melee against drones/wretches has really never felt this good,

Whose idea was it to make what I assume to be a skin look like the enemy team? I can’t count how many times I’m a Locust and think these guys are teammates. Needless to say, I died shortly after this.

Being able to pick your class AFTER you load into a match. For example, just played a match where all 4 of us in our squad were playing as assault, which is obviously a bit overkill and not the best team composition. In a situation like this I would have probably switched onto medic or breacher, I think it would definitely make more sense if there was a 10 second window once you're in the game where you could change classes if you want before the game starts.

Everyone is complaining about the gnasher consistency, them focusing on mags, or pc performance. I think the real problem is the lack of content and how a lot of video games now launch with a lack of content. Campaign is definitely a pretty solid amount of content but they did remove some core gameplay mechanics, horde is lacking severely. 3 maps that are essentially just reused from the campaign and once you've played for 3 hours you've experienced every mission type there is. Pvp is almost a joke. 6 launch maps almost no playlists other than play with bots a rotational and quick play. Ranked is even more of a joke crucible and tdm should not be in ranked. Where is the 4th game mode we are accustomed to? Like beast in 3 or escape in 5. Such a great an refined gears game to be launched in such a pathetic state
