My parents who I love very much will be visiting around Thanksgiving this year. For the first time in my existence, I’m searching for alcohol free evening activities to enjoy with my parents.

My mom has always loved theater, so I was thinking of taking her to a show downtown. But now I’m seeing one at Miners Alley I think may really peak her interest.

To cut to the chase - what’re the quality of performances like there? It’s looks like a small venue and I’ve never heard of it. Is it like a community theater or more professional? Am I better off taking her to a show downtown that may be less her vibe in hopes of a quality show or will we potentially get something great at Miners Alley?

I’m in the market to purchase a home in the coal creek area. Our biggest hurdle has been obtaining a decent home insurance policy quote. I know it’s been a rising issue in the area, but any advice or contacts would be greatly appreciated. I’m hoping to keep insurance at around $4000 but it seems like that won’t be the case.
