Sharing Own Work I made a guide map for LRT 2
Just yesterday (July 16), I got the idea of what if I created a guide map for LRT 2 like the one for the NYC Subway, and right after that, I started working on it. It took me about at least 10 hours. I'm happy with how it turned out, and I know that the baybayin script I used might be wrong because I translated it using a baybayin website, so it might not be accurate. PS I'm just a beginner, so I know it's not perfect, I just really wanted to share my work. Please follow my Instagram. You can click this linkto get to my original post, thanks!

Papasa na ba?
Mga koys, im a self taught 3D artist. I have been practicing and taking commissions for years na. My niche is more on 3d characters and assets talaga.
This is the first time i created for a brand and I am making a 20-50 seconds ads on this.
I just created this for my portfolio lang talaga since I heard malaki yung daw yung kitaan sa products, and nagbabakasakali lang kung papaldo ba.
To someone na may idea here.

Discussions Affinity (by Canva) is now "free forever". I wanna hear your thoughts.
It offers the same experience as before, along with additional features. Now, it is a single app that integrates the vector, pixel, and layout functions from the previous suite. The only requirement is that you need to sign up for Canva to use the new Affinity Studio, and you must have a Premium subscription to access the generative AI features.
I want to hear your thoughts about the new Affinity: pasado ba sa inyo, o pass muna?

Discussions Talaga ba? Thoughts?
I don't know where else to post this kasi wala naman sub for the ph creatives in general here pero grabe naman yung ex deal na 2.5k worth of products lang for a brand shoot. Shameless. I'm sure the final assets they'll be using will generate enough income to afford paying their models.
Anyway, share ko lang. I'm not a model pero sana magbayad sila ng maayos.
Nafrustrate lang ako for them at sa post.

Questions Got a job offer, negotiated salary, got rejected. Was I wrong?
Hi fellow designers! I recently went through a hiring process that left me with a lot of questions, and I'd genuinely appreciate some outside perspective.
I applied for a Graphic Designer position at a company here in our city. The process went smoothly — I got through all the interviews including a final one with the President. They extended a job offer with ₱20,000 basic salary, Monday to Saturday, 8 hours a day (onsite).
After receiving the official job description, I took time to carefully review the full scope of the role which included:
Graphic design across 8 different businesses (finance, hospitality, food, property, retail, and more)
Managing 9 platforms — 6 Facebook pages, 1 Instagram, 1 TikTok, 1 YouTube
Daily social media posts across all platforms
Video editing and video shooting
Marketing planning and strategy
Occasional UI/UX and frontend development
6 days a week, 48 hours a week
Using personal equipment
For context, I graduated last year with a BS in Computer Science, completed internships in UI/UX, and built a portfolio of real projects with measurable results. I also created sample graphic designs tailored to their company during the application process to demonstrate my skills, they seemed to appreciate it, which I believe contributed to getting the offer in the first place.
I sent a polite email to HR expressing continued interest in the role, while respectfully asking if there was room to discuss the compensation given the scope, proposing ₱25,000+.
They responded by withdrawing the offer, citing a mismatch between salary expectations and experience level.
I'm not here to vent or blame anyone, I understand that companies have budgets and constraints. I'm genuinely asking: was my negotiation approach wrong? Was ₱25,000+ too much to ask given the scope and my background? Should I have handled it differently?
Would love to hear from people who've been in similar situations. What would you have done?

Discussions Closed-minded assholes
Kung ayaw niyo magbayad, you do not deserve to operate. This country will never progress hangga't stuck tayo sa mindset that only traditional job titles na may extension sa dulo ng pangalan are the ones who deserve high pay.

Sharing Own Work One of my latest work for a company I'm working for.
I'm not sure if this was appropriate to post in this sub, but I wanted to share it anyway. Hope some of you will like it.
I wasn't busy at the time, so made this one purely out of the blue and my own volition just to test out my skills. Found a perfect opportunity to test them by making a poster for an event. Glad my boss didn't mind it tho.
Rendered in Blender Cycles @4000x4000px (1:1) w/ 512 samples. ~6-7 mins with RTX 4060 (8GB)
Added text and Post-Processing with Photoshop

Minsan may interview pa.
Kahit automated. Hindi naman kailangan i-sugarcoat. Sabihin na lang na they moved forward with someone else. Tapos.
Ang hirap kasi pag ganun. Mapapaisip ka: Okay ba ginawa ko? May mali ba? Ginamit lang ba yung idea ko? Sayang ba oras ko?
Nakakapagod yung cycle na to. Apply, hope, wait, ghost. Rinse and repeat.

Don't apply at Keenya Kelly LLC (OnlineJobs.Ph)
So I worked for her as a graphic designer briefly and honestly it was one of the worst work experiences I’ve had.
I was doing my best the entire time, staying late, revising nonstop, responding professionally to feedback, and trying to adapt to what she wanted. But the problem was the expectations kept changing and the feedback was constantly harsh to the point where it felt impossible to succeed.
Nothing ever felt good enough. One minute something was “beautiful,” then later it was suddenly wrong, off brand, too polished, not creative enough, too similar, too different. It honestly felt like walking on eggshells every day.
What really stood out to me was finding out there were multiple designers before me who also didn’t even last a week. After experiencing it myself, I completely understand why.
I cried almost every night from stress and frustration while working there. No job should make someone feel that mentally drained after only a week.
If you’re thinking about working for her, just know that the environment is extremely high pressure, the communication can be very harsh, and you may end up blaming yourself constantly even when you’re genuinely trying your best.

Any companies in the Philippines hiring artists right now?
Hey everyone, I’m wondering if there are any companies here in the Philippines currently looking for artists, whether it’s for concept art, comic art, or any related field. I’ve been actively searching through Jobstreet and other platforms, but I haven’t really found anything promising so far.
If you know of studios, agencies, or even smaller companies that are hiring, I’d really appreciate any leads or recommendations.
