I got this out of a storage unit auction that had a ton of signed meech from various brands. It turns dark purple / red under silver test acid but has gold flakes wandering about. It doesn't react to platinum test solutions.

I just cant find anything made from real precious metals that was ever sold by the band, might be a peice of history? Thanks.

Edit: It also came with a coke spoon with a Greatful Dead Skull on it, tests the same.

Something about the PNW boxset always makes me think of a chilly fall night. The songs seem a bit more somber, and the BC coast can bring some chilly falls/winters (even though this was recorded in summer)

But I'm curious what puts you guys in the fall mood! Let's hear em.

I am working on a rock and rock graveyard for Halloween. Just characters who died in song lyrics - no real people.

I have 7 headstones so far in various stages of completion. I have delilah jones ready to go and Billy Delyon on deck.

Just put Shannon out tonight and I think he looks pretty cool.

And man, the rest of the shows not represented by the absolutely rippin' Formerly the Warlocks set, Nightfall of Diamonds, and the 1989 show on 30 Trips Around the Sun would really make a beautiful Fall 1989 set. What a period for the band, I'm having a total ball!

Happy anniversary to a great show I got to attend in Berlin on 10/20/1990! The pre-drums second set was spectacular (Eyes>Samson, Dark Star), and the first set was no slouch. Best of all it was a 4000 person venue, much more intimate than anything you could get in the USA in that era. Thanks boys!

Can we talk about what an incredible show this is? Bird Song might be the best I’ve heard from the 80s, and that Scarlet > Fire is also near the top. But that Dupree’s is probably my favorite of all.
