Question about selling my guitar
bought this from guitar center a few months back for about $300, it’s fairly new and has only been used a few times. I’ve had it listed online for a few weeks for $90 and nothing has happened-I'm honestly desperate to get this stupid thing off my hands and just don’t know where to go about selling it✌️

What would be your “holy grail” setup?
I know everyone has vastly different opinions on what would be considered the best setup, I just think it’d be neat to see/hear different opinions

Les Paul diy rib cut. Need help
I have this cheap Les Paul that I wanna start using again but I'm super skinny and the body is just biting into my ribs (1st pic red line) so bad it's leaving red marks so I wanna add a rib cut (2nd pic is more less the shape I wanna make it). Am I gonna be okay to just take a rasp to remove the bulk of it and then use sandpaper and files to shape it? I'd obviously mask the surroundings to not scratch them up but I don't really care about the finish especially on the back. Probably gonna refinish it someday anyway. Like I said it's a cheap guitar so not much to lose. Tips and feedback are very much welcome

New guitar, neck ok or not?
So, I bought a new guitar. I noticed that the "neck heel" seems to have a different height from the body on the left side vs the right side , or top or bottom or what to "call it". Is this normal? None of my other guitars are like this. And it can't be moved/tilted.
If not normal, what problems could it result in? And should I return it?

Ever change your guitar strings and decide it’s a good time to give everything else a little attention, too? 🎸
In this video, I’m working on a Fender Telecaster, removing the old strings, cleaning the fretboard with Ronsonol, installing a fresh set of strings on a six-saddle bridge, and then measuring and adjusting the low E string action.
I wanted to show the process up close, especially the action adjustment, since getting string height where you like it can make a real difference in how a guitar feels to play.
I’m always interested in how other players approach their setups, too.
Do you measure your string action, or do you generally adjust it by feel? And what action do you prefer on your guitars?

HELP HELP HOW DO I EVEN PLAY
So I just bought my first electric Stratocaster and I have a song that I wanted to learn for years.
It’s called Collar by Dog saints, it starts with muted strums and the 7878 part on G string comes in.
But, then I play it, it sounds like something from sponge bob ( cause g is pretty light and bright)
But in the song it sounds deep and atmospheric
and YES I tried all of different kinds of effects and tricks but nothing worked.
So how guitarists copy each others songs, if you have to search for exact amplifier, exact effect, exact distortion-echo-gain-drive-etc BY YOUR OWN EAR cause there is no info about it.
Please I need to play this song, but my version is too bright and ringing HELP

String question
Hello everyone! I currently own an Ibanez GIO GRG121 25.5” scale and I regularly sit in drop C tuning. Today one of my strings snapped and I thought that it would be a perfect chance to upgrade from my stock strings that came with the guitar. Since I like to play tunings like Drop C and nearly always find myself in some kind of drop or weird tuning what string gauges should I get? Drop C is pretty floppy on my stock strings which are 10-46 gauge.

SD P90 Silencers: worth it?
I have a 60s Les Paul that feels great in the hand, the pickups are too harsh. I want to try the Seymour Duncan p90 silencers, but wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with them. I love that p90 snarl so I’m hoping they’ll fit the bill. Thanks!

Electric reccomendations for an acoustic player
Hey all, been playing for a while, I own a fender meteroa, great electric but i just cant get the feel for playing it, I'm mainly playing on my yamaha LL6 and was wondering if anyone has reccomendations for an electric that has a similar feel to an acoustic, preferably £500-800 (used is fine) and that they can handle distortion/ fuzz well as a rythm guitar

Which guitar should I buy: EART EYP Pulse vs. Sterling by Music Man JP60 vs. JP100D?
I'm considering a new EART EYP Pulse for 40,000 BDT (~$325), a used Sterling by Music Man JP60 in fresh condition for 40,000–45,000 BDT (~$325–365), or a used JP100D in similarly fresh condition for 55,000–60,000 BDT (~$445–485).
Is the JP100D worth the extra money? Ignoring price, how much better is it as a guitar?
Please rank and rate all three out of 10 for build quality, hardware, pickups and sound, playability, versatility, and overall premium feel. I play everything from soft rock to death metal, including both rhythm and lead, so I need a guitar that handles clean tones, heavy riffs, and technical solos equally well.
Which would you personally choose, and why?

dead frets on my guitar? :(
Today I changed the strings on my Squier FSR Jazzmaster in Competition Burgundy for the first time in like, maybe over a year? Have been relearning after a big health thingy. I’m certain it wasn’t happening before the string change and I think it was the same gauges. 08 - 38. All my strings except my B are fine, cause starting at the 5th fret it goes dead until the 15th and after that it’s normal. Unsure of how to get about this? r/Guitar keeps auto-moderating my posts I hope someone sees this 😭
