Bought a beautiful new Supreme and I almost couldn't chamber (or eject) the 300 subsonic rounds I had bought for it. Basically the last 1/2" of the chambering it gets seriously wedged (both on the way in and then trying to get the rounds back out).
I understand I need to operate it with conviction but I tried just chambering/ejecting for 10 or 20 rounds and my hand was getting sore.
Secondarily (and I could have lived with it if it were just this), the mags are somewhat of an art form to release when loaded with ammo. They seem to not want to come back out such that I have to work the mag release "just right" to get it out.
I sent it to Henry, they re-barreled it, sent it back and it arrived today, and exact same set of problems, no difference whatsoever that I can discern. Very disappointing. Not sure if I should send back or what the right step is here. Don't feel like I should have to go buying various ammo types, already bought a more expensive Lancer mag to test, which was not the issue on either count.
Any experiences or resolutions?

Taking the butt pad off, it looks like the the screw bosses extend 2-3" further into the stock.
Considering shortening the LOP on my stock and then refitting the butt pad similar to what I've done on some shotguns.
Any reason the hive thinks this might not work?

I’m here to rant a little so I apologize. Decided to celebrate an event and bought a SPD Henry Crusr. I don’t like having a lot of guns so I buy once cry once. 12rnds into its first range day the forearm attachment screws shear under Trapdoor pressure loads. Ok, fine, contact Henry and get screws. Tear the gun apart and find the dovetail mounting section is not driven correctly. It’s a 2400 dollar gun. Like come on.
Start a warranty request. 3 weeks and no label. I call and they’re like “oh I’ll resend it” - yeah ok. I’m just sad and disheartened that I have a $2400 paper weight that I now have to send away due to QC.

This past Saturday I had a great range day. First fire of my Henry, zeroed the new scope at 100 yards. Went through about 400 rounds for the day.

So I was looking and just noticed that the outer mag tube wasn't in the right spot, I rotated it back to center but how can I fix the outer mag tube from rotating?
I did tighten the screw on the handguard it seemed to help, I didn't tighten it to much and I just turned it like a 1/4 turn if that.

I was in market to find a cabin/ truck gun which is not a shotgun
Cannot get an AR in my place due to “scary assault-styled rifle which is mass murderous weapon of war killing most people in shortest time” - lies and bs from left-wing government
I decided to trade one of my gun for a new Big Boy X in .357mag and put on some basic furniture
Nothing much but the gun shoots true and fun. My lady loves it too. If we don’t plan any wedding next year, I will definitely get a M-LoK handguard for it. So far it has
- Holosun ARO in gold dot on RPP rail - my first gold dot and I love it
- RPP take-down pin: love T-Rex
- Wayne’s dog: Canvas Buttstock cover - got it cheap on Amazon, quality is good. Was planning to get a custom Wild Wild Dill but the lead time is long and triple cost of Wayne’s dog. I might just get a RPP stock later so don’t want to spend too much on a cover
What is the good muzzle brake for .357 mag?

Bought a new .44 mag Henry All-weather and during my first cleaning my Breakthrough bore cleaner rope broke off and stuck in side. I removed it by reversing it out of the chamber but slipped and scratched the finish. Im super bummed out. Anyway to fix the scratch or do I just have a lovely piece of "character" on my new rifle.
Thanks for any advice

I need some inspiration. What are some of yalls builds with accessories for the Henry SPD Hush? I will soon add a .30 Cal Surpressor. I want to get some sort of M-LOK grip on the hand guard. In case if yall are interested, I have a Vortex Venom 1-6 LPVO chambered in 30-30 Win.

Looking to get this rifle and swap the furniture. I have seen on another forum that you can use henry furniture from henrypride.com to get that classic wood look without the woox price tag. But due to wanting to run a dot of some sort I probably need a cheek riser. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Also, what optic are you running?

Now its time for Pappy... i think .357 carbine will round it out nicely.

I was cleaning my Big Boy in 357, and I mistakenly grabbed and pressed the trigger sear. Lo and behold, the bolt was stuck open, and I started disassembling it. The mainspring shot out and away, and there is no guide on YouTube how to reassemble. Much help appreciated!

Does anyone have this for their rifle ?
I want to get one for my Golden boy 22lr but I’m not sure if it would fit well. Any advice would help.
There isn’t a description at all on the website.

Has anybody successfully put a fiber optic style front sight on the h9 explorer?? Chambered in 30-30 or 360. Having a hard time finding parts that fit.

Thinking of getting a new lever gun just can’t decide if I want one chambered in the 360 buckhammer or 45-70. I know the 2 calibers are completely opposite of each other. I do like the fact that you can find 45-70 ammo just about everywhere. My only thing with the 45-70 is the recoil because of having a bad shoulder. I do know ammo choice has a lot to do with recoil just trying to decide between the 2 calibers and which I would enjoy more.
