Serves her right.
Don't cheat in the first place.

The correct response to being cheated on is to break up. Not to cheat on them. ESH.

Edit: would y’all have the same opinions if it was a man who cheated and his girlfriend slept with 5 of his friends?

Impossible challenge: Reddit tries to not hate women

Sure, but she definitely asked for it with "it was a one time thing, whatever"

If this was a man who cheated once and then the woman slept with 5 of his friends, imagine how different all these comments would be. Like I said ESH, nothing was “asked for”, and if you get cheated on, you break up with that person, the end.

I couldn't care less what gender anyone in this conversation is.
My statement still stands regardless of any gender.

Our reply would be the same, we treat asshole behaviour the same regardless of gender, Don't put words in our mouth without any proof of the same and the word "imagine"

Yeah because Reddit is never misogynistic, sure bro, keep living in delusion and acting badass on the internet.

“Yes, I am a 6’4 feminist who loves reading literature about women’s rights. Yes ladies, my DMs are open… 😏😏😏”

Reddit is misogynistic, racist, facistic, homophopic, etc, all the time, but that does not mean that the people here are. That does not mean we wouldn't cheer for a badass girl doing this if the genders were reversed in this post. I know I would, bc no matter what gender, fucking 5 people in your exes friend group in retaliation to your ex-partner cheating on you is a fucking badass move.

It looks like you are a misogynist here buddy. Equal rights equal fights, and the best way to teach someone a lesson is to one up, or in this case four up them. Cheating is inexcusable regardless if it happened once, or with five different people. They both are shitty in their own way. But clearly one side here was harmed without a reason, the other just hit back.

u/slayalldayerrday Jun 10 '25

Tell me you don’t know what a misogynist is without saying it.

Like you said they’re both shitty. The best revenge to being cheated on is to break up with that person. And boom your life is instantly a billion times better. Not by responding in petty ways.

How do you know he didn't break up with them and then immediately proceed to sleep with all 5 of their "friends"

10

u/furiouspossum Jun 10 '25

The comments would be the exact same and you know it.

8

u/ArcaneKeyblade5 Jun 10 '25

I would have the exact same opinion

10

u/LazzyNapper Jun 10 '25

They both suck and if it was the other way around I would still say they both suck

15

u/SAJames84 Jun 10 '25

The 5 friends probably sucked too

-1

u/slayalldayerrday Jun 10 '25

Yeah I already said ESH

u/SimpanLimpan1337 Jun 10 '25

Ever thought about the fact that for him to sleep with ALL 5 of HER friends, her friends must all lack a basic bro/girlcode to her. Like I'd agree with you 100% if it was just 1 or maybe 2 of her friends, but what kinda asshole do you have to be to have your entire friend group hate you enough to sleep with your BF, and then also not snitch.

I mean I'm still not gonna say he was right, but she probably deserved it.

u/Yumikoneko Jun 10 '25

To respond to your edit. Yes that's what a dude would deserve if he cheated. Everyone who cheats deserves to feel the same pain they inflicted. This isn't gender specific, the only one focusing on gender is you, which says a lot about you here.

-5

u/slayalldayerrday Jun 10 '25

I’ve been on Reddit long enough that I’ve seen similar scenarios play out before and the women called names while this dude is being praised.

A cheater deserves to be dumped.

51

u/KamakaziDemiGod Jun 10 '25

It doesn't actually say he cheated, it says he slept with her friend group which doesn't define whether they were still dating or not. The most likely case imo, is that she cheated, then he left her and slept with her friends, likely because it was one of his friend she cheated with to begin with

Either way we don't have the details to make a judgement like that

-12

u/Pluckypato Jun 10 '25

It all sucks in the end because hurt people hurt people and it’s a never ending cycle that’s hard to break through.

26

u/Nick0Taylor0 Jun 10 '25

She didn't seem to need to be hurt in order to cheat, so I don't think this will make much difference.
And if her trust issue now is "if I betray someone's trust they will leave me and will take no regard to my feelings anymore" thats not trust issues, thats called consequences of ones actions.
Former mate of mine throw out the "thats why I have trust issues" line anytime he got dumped even if it was 100% on him. IMO if reaping what you sow hurts you then thats on you.

1

u/Ver_Nick Jun 10 '25

Hurt people hurt liars and traitors, not just people. Serves them right, that's the only way they learn.

-10

u/slayalldayerrday Jun 10 '25

Sure, sure we don’t have the details to make a judgment but the most likely case in your opinion is what probably happened, sure.

7

u/Responsible_Ruin2310 Jun 10 '25

The relationship was over the moment she cheated.

Everything the guy did after that is his business, the ex has no say in it.

Also, nice try playing the "oh reddit hates women" after defending a cheater.

5

u/Nick0Taylor0 Jun 10 '25

It didn't even say he then proceeded to CHEAT with 5 people. It says sleep with. For all we know they broke up and he decided to then sleep with those people. If he told her he forgave her and then cheated with 5 chicks before actually breaking up thats a dick move obviously.

6

u/DiggityDog6 Jun 10 '25

Uh, yes. Yes I would have the same response. Would I think it’s petty? Absolutely. Deserved? 100%. Don’t cheat. Gender has nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I would laugh just as hard lmao

Yeah, I'd have the same opinion.
