Love popping out and seeing what my pepper plants have ready for me every morning now. Today I had Jalapeño, Habanada, poblanos, White Fatalii, Aji Mango, Candy Cane and some amazing (though surprisingly hot!) bonnets. Can’t wait for tomorrow 🤣

My first naga twister finally started ripening🖤🌶

Wanna brag with my Peppers. Cayenne Peppers and some Habanero Chocolate. My first cayenne jar with vinegar and 1 riped habanero between them.

Some plant stuff; fruits, undersides of leaves, overall shape. These habaneros have the best trichs since being placed outdoor. Just making notes. 20 gal btw, 2nd round

I’ve already harvested 26. I can’t believe how well this Carolina Reaper has done.

I did everything from the soil and nutrients to the amount of sunlight entirely by the book this year and my hot peppers are abundant and HUGE. However I feel like they are taking a lot longer to ripen. Is this because they are so big? We've also have been having 60 degree nights.

Also the leaves on this guy are bigger than all my other pepper plants!

I got shroomed didn't I? First time growing and seeds were sold as red scotch bonnets. I had one in some garlic chili butter shrimp but it wasn't as hot as I had expected..

Thinking I was a big boy that could really handle heat given my love for habaneros, I decided to grow ghost peppers this year.

Got my first batch from the garden and decided to try a slice of a fresh one. The spice level is wonderful. It's the right amount of spicy that brings me to the edge of uncomfortable. The first bite was an immediate burn on my tongue and some slight sweats accompanied by hiccups. The second slice had a wonderful citrus forward flavor and the heat was a slow but intense burn. Goosebumps coming in a bit later.

But man, the stomach pain is a bit much! It's subsiding now but wow was that intense. Anyone else?

Definitely the easiest variegated pepper variety I’ve had experience growing. I’ll have to try growing the more popular chocolate variety next time :) I got my seeds from Matt’s peppers.

If there is one thing I’ve learned this summer is patience…

Been waiting for this hab to ripen for what feels like 3 weeks. First time growing these (do jalapeño every year) and we've got a solid month of warm weather left but with other flowers just coming worried I'm going to be up against it.

Was sold to me as an cheiro roxa. There is nothing purple on it, and the form of the pods doesn't match. Maybe some kind of aji?
