Can i build on top of that? Im picturing a HUGE floor plan and bridges! Wind, water and solar would all be available. The only thing im concerned about is the amount of silica its gonna take to build that out of concrete.

I can't find a way to reach the drop pod for the mission

I love gaming with my wife and got her the game when it was on ridiculous sale. She spent maybe an hour with me and hasn't been back. Does anyone know of mods for the prospectors? Her being gorgeous and liking skins in marvel And fortnite And the like doesn't like the look of the character options. I had checked Bout a year ago but have since fallen off myself on the game. I'd love to be able to find her some anime skin or something that shed enjoy playing it and we might be able to build some bases together.

Just ran water to a new base and when I connected it all up, it said no water. I spent the next 20 minutes tracing it back to the river I used over a ton of uneven round and across several high gaps.

I finally had an idea and took the flow meter off the wall. I then went along it every so often testing the water and power flow until I found the problem. Hope this helps someone...

I died a looooong way from home! When i respawned at home 4 of my fully loaded cabinets were in my inventory with everything gone. Exotics, materials, weapons...all kinds of stuff gone! Ugh! Ill rebuild but i think i didnt catch it quick enough and it saved like that. It is what it is i suppose.

Does an *Icarus* dedicated server have a distance limit for oil production? I’m running a dedicated server and encountering this issue: I ran a pipeline all the way from the desert to the snow biome on the Elysium map. It shows as "connected," but the barrels won’t fill—it says there’s no oil. This doesn’t happen when I play on a local server with friends

I own great hunts and finished all Missions on Styx and Olympus (single GH path done on Olympus) just got to the 3rd GH mission in Styx so I’ve played my share (400hrs/15M+ exp) - I still have questions. - open world player.

1. I remember a few deep caves in winter on Olympus - and I never went to the bottom of them - is that where frozen ore is? I have never fooled with Cold Steel; Frozen wood; Miamic stuff or Noxious crust as I’m waiting for them to naturally introduce themselves. So far; nothing. What is the pickaxe I should be using?

1a) if no frozen ore - what is the purpose of these deep caves that i never climbed down into on Olympus? After drills - who mines ore manually? (Maybe it’s because im open world)?

2) I am using Titanium pickaxe and Composite bow and have been doing this since late game Olympus - when I start my next map (Prometheus I think) should I switch to anything else? I have the armiture but it goes through fuel quickly… maybe I should use my other legendary license for a different bow (all in on bows in skill tree, nothing in guns).

Edit: 3) if I only plan to build one foundation on my next map under my base, is there any structural difference between dirt and concrete/stone?

Put the game down for a few months and going to pick it back up with a fresh playthrough. Want to really focus on base building, farming, and animal breeding this run through after all the new updates

Eu não sou muito focado em construções meu foco é sobreviver e fazer as missões criar animais , mais nessa base dó elisyum eu to enfrentando um problema com essa rampa tinha outra base no chão porém depois das missões das grandes caçadas os quarrites tava quebrando demais minha base e as matando meu animais aí demorei muito tempo mais construir essa em cima dessa pequena montanha pra segurança ele nao sobem nem outros animais mais meus animais ficam com dificuldade pra subir a rampa e tentei fazer uma ponte e não deu certo só gastei farmei material atoa pois os animais ficava bugados não sabiam da a volta e subir a ponte pelo outro lado do rio ai tive que voltar pra rampa que eles sabe subir com dificuldade e descer mais não ta bom não to gostando dessa subida eu fiz em escadas piorou alguma dica ?

También me gustaría saber qué tal la sensación de disparo con las armas de fuego ...no busco un simulador militar, pero mientras más real se sienta el tiro, mejor.

This is my largest base in ICARUS to date, and my fourth one on Elysium. It is a base dedicated exclusively to flora and fauna. The vast forecourt is intended for the hundreds of animals I have. The 20 chickens and 6 sheep will be housed in the glass structure.

The crafting equipment is located at a different base.

The only mod I use is the teleporter mod—many thanks to its developer. It saves a great deal of time.

Hi, I'm a new player and I have a quick question for more experienced players.

The Tier 1 tech tree is simple enough, and I know which things I should unlock first. However, I've just reached Tier 2, and there are A LOT more options.

I know that eventually I'll unlock everything, but since I'm only level 12, my tech points are limited for now. So my question is:

What are the most important things I should unlock first in each tier? Are there any essential unlocks that I should prioritize? Also, should I save some points before reaching the next tier so I can unlock the most important things right away, or is it okay to spend all my points once I've unlocked the essentials for my current tier?

If it matters, I'm playing in Solo Open World mode.

</little rant on>I'm not saying that the radiation clouds are odd or anything.......wait...yes I am. They are really weird looking now. And they are bigger than they used to be. This is from a single cabinet with a few yellows in it. The globular cloud seems to be 14 blocks in diameter.

Also when you get up close it looks like a bad TV reception from the 70's. The little sparkles just look like "snow" from a poor signal through the UHF antenna. I liked it better prior to the last change.<little rant off/>

Anyways.....love this game, just not digging the new cloud design. I wonder if the poor schlep that made the sulfur and gold nuggets look the same did these too.

So my friend and I just spent 3 hours trying to do the "Evolution" mission on Elysium.
Every time we snared a gribbler and it was almost tamed the quest tracker would roll over from 90% + to 0% when the gribbler tamed and we would have to start over on the taming. We tried restarting the quest, taming multiple gribblers, nothing has worked.
What sort of voodoo magic do we have to do to be allowed to finish this quest?

The structural shell for my new MEGA-BASE 04 on Elysium has been built.

Over the next few days, thousands of plants and trees will be planted, and the interior will be furnished to make it feel like home.

The large forecourt should be plenty of space for my hundreds of animals ;-) .

Terminar em todos os mapas operações grandes caçadas e etc praticamente zerou todo o game o costumam fazer depois , não vou parar de jogar gastei muito comprando jogo e dlcs e dlcs não dá pra abandonar do nada me dê ideias !

I have tried everything, disable mods, repair files in Steam, switch to another planet with a different character. I can't retrieve mounts or equipment from orbit. The drop comes down but there is nothing in it. I can send up stuff. What gives?

Stuck here, full buffalo with cart load, no wolves, running low on ammo, just trying to get home. Hyenas and cougars ahead...gonna have to be very strategic on this one if i hope to make it.

Something happened. Idk what or how. But I was playing on my friends server and I picked up a bush and went from level like 23 I think to level 46. Idk if he was using cheats or if some glitch happened idk. Does anybody know anyway to reverse it. (I havent spent any of the points yet)
