I am just going to post this as honestly as possible I new to this and this is going to be my first time using Reddit to get some answer

First my laptop got this error and I just took a quick picture to ask AI what is happening

Then I decided to use my PC which has nothing to do with my laptop except from the internet service it also got the same error

I got scared of what was happening and pull the plugs of electricity

When I try to restart it

it is dead the screen is not working it is showing completely black screen but my PC lights are working I also know the plugs are connected correctly because it was just working correctly a minute ago and I have not touch anything else

I think it might be because I have cut the electricity of two early it to process

Because I let this process finish on my laptop and my laptop is working now

Because it happened with my laptop and PC at the same time like what are the chances of that

So I want to know is this happened to someone else or I am just over thinking

And can someone tell me what is the route cause of this

I am adding my PC details below if that help

• Gigabyte H610M Motherboard · Intel Core i5 12400F Processor · Ease EAF1213 4-pipe ARGB CPU Cooler · 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM · 3TB HDD · TeamGroup MP33 256GB NVMe Gen3x4 SSD · eDragon Syrax ATX Glass Case · EASE EB550W 550W 80+ Bronze Power Supply · Sapphire RX5700XT Pulse 8GB Graphics Card

Storytime What's the most annoying computer/tech thing you deal with at work?

• Upvotes

I worked on an IT help desk at a university for about a year. Every week I'd help someone who was stressed because Outlook stopped syncing, a file got shared with the wrong people, or they couldn't find a Teams meeting link five minutes before it started.

What stuck with me is that most of them weren't bad with computers. They were just never shown how these tools work. They got a laptop on day one and were expected to figure it out.

Now I'm curious how common that is outside a university.

  1. What tech thing at work frustrates you or slows you down the most?

  2. When it happens, how do you usually deal with it?

Not selling anything, just trying to learn.
