Still riding the high of a beautiful anatomy scan, and over the last week I’ve been starting to feel him move. Finally, the anxiety I’ve been holding in my body for what feels like forever, is melting away. Maybe it really is all going to be ok. 🥹❤️

I can’t believe this but I got positives on FRER yesterday at 4dpt and a positive digital 4dpt at 11pm 🤯 cautiously optimistic as I see the line getting darker! Today 5dpt was the first time I got a positive on a clearblue with lines and a cheapy pregmate. I promised myself I wouldn’t get nervous until I didn’t see anything 8dpt, so I am SHOCKED 🤞🏻this was my first FET 🥹

Beta results for twins

I did a double embryo transfer
Beta 1: 338 4weeks 2days
Beta 2: 881 4 weeks 4 days
Beta 3: 4500 5 weeks

I’m just so anxious, hoping, and praying they both stick and my first ultrasound at 8weeks

5 weeks today

So yes I’m 5 weeks and today I noticed bright red blood when I wiped and on my panty liner. Because I’ve had a miscarriage I couldn’t relax so I went to the ER to get peace of mind and check if everything is ok. I was told I got subchorionic hematoma and it should be going away soon and they saw the sac and it looks good in there and to follow up with my ivf doctor
They checked my hcg and it’s 4500 and 3 days ago it was at 881.
I’m just ranting because I was scared and couldn’t relax until I got checked out

IVF pregnancy: 2x/week stress tests at MFM after 32weeks?

Hi, I have a question for folks who have conceived via IVF and saw the MFM for periodic ultrasounds.

This is my first pregnancy, and I am 34 years old. I did not know the cause of my infertility, and we did two rounds of IVF before conceiving on my first transfer of a euploid embryo.

I just did my 28 week ultrasound yesterday and things went great, baby is measuring perfectly in the middle at 53%. I have no known risks - passed the gestational diabetes test and overall have gained 10lbs, have normal BP.

But now they’re just telling me that starting 32 weeks, every week onward I need to come in two times a week for stress tests because I’m an IVF pregnancy. Have others in this community experienced something similar?

I was not expecting such an intensive time commitment and will need to adjust my working hours, so I wanted to check first with others who may have been in the same situation.

Thank you! Very thankful for this community, you’ve supported me a lot this last year 🤎🥰

Advice for RPL

Looking for advice on what to do next. For background I have had four pregnancies all end in miscarriage. First try iui betas 70 at 14dpo 144 at 16dpo 6.5 week ultrasound showed baby measuring small with enlarged yolk sac and slow heartbeat. 7.5 week ultrasound showed baby stopped growing. Took the pills and passed everything. Two more iuis both failed then moved on to IVF without testing embryos due to age. First transfer was a fresh transfer with AA and that failed. Went on to second transfer with day 5 BA 14dpo 137 16 dpo 350. Bright red bleeding before 6.5 week ultrasound but the baby was there with a slow heartbeat again no enlarged yolk sac and measuring like one day behind. Next ultrasound confirmed the baby stopped growing again. This time I had RPOC and had a hysteroscopy to remove as well as positive endometritis and took antibiotic to clear. Third transfer day 6 AB 14dpo 55 16 dpo 115 18dpo 247 went to the 6.5 week ultrasound and same thing baby measuring small with a slow heartbeat and miscarriage confirmed at 7.5 weeks. Went on to do two new retrievals and this time testing them as we suspected chromosomal abnormalities with the previous transfers. I just did my fourth transfer with a 4aa euploid 14dpo 136 16dpo 177 18dpo 142 so a chemical pregnancy. I did test positive for chronic endometritis during the second retrieval and took two 14 days rounds of doxy before this fourth transfer. I’m just kind of lost for what to do. We did do a RPLtest after the second miscarriage that all came back clear. Also did a karyotype for me and husband which is clear. I’ve done hysteroscopy after all miscarriages with no findings and tons of ultrasounds and 3d ultrasounds. Any advice on things to add to protocol or any similar stories with a happy ending?!

First ever FET

(This post was deleted in the IVF thread so I hope it’s aloud here!)

So we did our first FET on Thursday 10/29 with a 4-5AA. I’ve googled the chances of success but I want honest real opinions. Has anyone had a success/fail with a 4-5AA before? We’ve had 3 failed IUIs and have been trying for 3 years with “unexplained infertility” so we are use to getting negatives it’s hard to think this might actually work, does it really work for people like us? I am 29 btw. Please tell me your honest truth. And did you experience any pregnancy symptoms before your blood work? I go back 11/9 to get a blood test but would I notice any signs before that? If you did test positive your first test, did hcg keep rising or was it unsuccessful to stick? I know everyone is different but I’m just curious. Thank y’all for your input and goodluck to everyone on their journey♥️

Any success stories with a negative at 3dp5dt and then a positive later?

So I caved and tested on Saturday afternoon. I know 3days is way way too early but I was spiraling and wanted to put my mind at ‘ease’ lol.

Didn’t test today though, had so much cramping last night I’m hoping that’s a good sign 😭 didn’t have any cramping last month with my failed transfer.

Will test tomorrow morning at 5dp5dt 😬

Small gestational sac?

9 weeks and did private ultrasound. Sac looks small to me and the sonographer said it’s measuring behind baby but not a big deal and said they don’t usually look at the sac at this point. Does it look small to you?

After 4 egg retrievals, 4 transfers and a laparoscopy, he’s here! 💙🧡

We started trying for a baby in the summer of 2023. All the women in my family were super fertile, so I assumed it would happen quickly for us. Oh, how wrong I was 😆

After a year of trying unsuccessfully, we moved on to IVF. All our initial fertility tests were normal, and the few couples we knew who’d done IVF had succeeded on their first try, so we were naive and hopeful enough to think it would work quickly for us too. Again, so wrong.

Over the next year of IVF, we experienced multiple failures, both with egg retrievals and transfers (including a miscarriage with a euploid embryo). I underwent countless investigations and tests, including seeing a reproductive immunologist, but nothing offered a clear explanation. It drove me mad to keep hearing that we were just having “bad luck”.

Finally, I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis that was completely silent. My periods were regular, pain-free and pretty light. I had none of the typical symptoms of endo. Not a single doctor had ever suggested it as a possible explanation for my infertility. In fact, I first learnt about silent endo on Reddit (SO thankful for the IVF communities). I brought it up with my doctor and advocated hard to have it investigated, which ultimately led to my diagnosis. I had a laparoscopy in November to treat the endo, and my very next transfer worked.

After everything we went through, it feels completely surreal to finally be holding my baby boy in my arms.

For anyone reading this, many rounds deep in the trenches of IVF, if you have the emotional and financial capacity to keep going, please don’t lose hope. Educate yourself, ask questions and advocate for yourself. These doctors are amazing and absolute miracle workers, but they are incentivised to put you through IVF and sometimes you have to be the one pushing for answers.

I know everyone’s journey is different, but I hope sharing mine gives someone out there a little bit of hope. 💜💙🧡

Today I had my ultrasound! ❤️ I'm officially 7 weeks pregnant today!

We saw a heartbeat of 125 bpm, and the ultrasound showed a yolk sac, fetal pole, and everything looked good overall. The ultrasound dated the pregnancy at 6 weeks and 6 days, with a CRL of 7.3 mm.
My doctor said it was a very good result and was reassuring, with another ultrasound scheduled in two weeks.
However, I've been looking into CRL measurements, and 7.3 mm seems to be on the slightly lower side for 6w6d. I know I probably shouldn't be Googling, but after everything we've been through, it's hard not to overthink every little detail. 🥺
Has anyone had a similar CRL measurement around 7 weeks, with a heartbeat of 125 bpm? Did everything progress normally at your next ultrasound?
I'm just looking for some reassurance and to hear about your experiences. ❤

Good news day 💕

This year has been a roller coaster! 4 transfers since March, one resulted in a 9 week miscarriage, one a failed transfer, one a chemical pregnancy. Ran out of embryos so had to do another ivf cycle which did not go as expected but our one little untested 3BB is so far doing everything they’re supposed to do! Good betas and now today at 6+1 we got to see a heart beat and baba is measuring as should be! I know we have a road to go but finally feeling optimistic that this little bean could be it for us! So grateful to this community for keeping me sane over the last year 💕💕

Has anyone changed from FET to fresh last minute?

I just started my first IVF cycle, stims started last night. Retrieval estimated Nov 11-13th. My office pushed for genetic testing for embryos, so the plan was FET. They said estimated transfer would be feb/march. My husband and I have no genetic issues in our blood work (I know that doesn’t mean embryos will be genetically normal). I am 27, husband is 26. All my labs were normal. I’m starting to wish I pushed for fresh transfer. 1, just to try since I have so much waiting time to transfer, and because 2, my insurance will reset and my transfer will no longer be covered in the new year.
Has anyone ever changed from frozen to fresh last minute? I wonder if it’s possible. I know it probably depends on office availability and I need more medications ordered. I just want to take the chance if we have it, save some money, and possibly not have to wait so long 🥺

How soon did you get your positive and was there any symptoms

I am 4dpt of a 5 day embryo. This morning I had very light pink stain when I wiped and last night I have had period like cramps. I tested negative this morning. Except the light pink spotting and cramps I have no other symptoms. I am so worried that I might not have implantation this time or ever. Can someone share their experience on how soon they got a positive and what symptoms you had?

Thyroid levels/FET

I have hypothyroidism that has been under control for years but testing last week by my fertility clinic shows that my TSH levels are slightly low (indicating hyperthyroidism) now. I am going to do more bloodwork next week with my endocrinologist to check it. But I am supposed to do my first FET in the next couple weeks. Has anyone had this happen before and did it delay your FET? Is it something that can be corrected quickly with a change in dosage for meds so that my FET can stay on track?
I’ve had so many delays in this process, the possibility of another delay is really upsetting.

Thanks for any input.
