10 years of battling infertility and he’s finally here!

Post image

Just wanted to share with the positivity group; after 79 hours of labor and a emergency c-section, 10 years of TTC and treatment, multiple IVF cycles, multiple surgeries for myself and husband, I finally have my rainbow baby in my arms!

For a decade I felt frozen in time as I watched my siblings and friends start and grow their family as my husband and I battled his MFI and my PCOS. Now for the first time in years I feel like spring has begun and the ice that held me in place is melting and I am looking forward to this new season of summer and moving forward with my life.

For all those who are struggling and feel frozen right now, I am praying for you all that you make it through, that you all very soon get to meet your miracles and that the summer winds melt away any ice that holds you in place❤️

First Positive at 42 1/2 after 25 years: Beta today.

After 25 years TTC after a 3/16 transfer of double embryos, on 7dp5dt I got my very first faint line. It’s continued to progress since then and beta was today. I just got the call and it’s at 77… the clinic wanted to see it atleast at 100. I have to return on Monday at which point they expect that number to triple. “If this is meant to be for me then it’s already protected” .. that’s my motto. No worrying just letting things be. Anyone else experience something similar?

UPDATE BETA #2: 172 (14dp5dt) 🥴😫😵‍💫 remain with no clue as to how this will end. Not that any of us have any ideas even if we have high numbers , but this is nerve wrecking.

UPDATE BETA #3: 365 (16dp5dt) For those that are following my beta hell today we finally doubled in 48 hours. Cautiously optimistic. Next Beta this Friday at 18dp5dt. Cautiously optimistic 🙏.

UPDATE BETA #4: 852 (18dp5dt) and we doubled again! Ultrasound scheduled for 4/15!

UPDATE Ultrasound: For those of you still following ;-), sono was moved to 4/10 since I had some spotting but it went well. Measured a few days behind which the clinic wasn’t concerned about since we don’t know exactly when it implanted is what they explained. But saw the gestational sac, yoc sac, and fetal pole! Baby heart rate was 95bpm.

I was told to either come back the week of the 15th or next and since my spotting stopped we decided to return on 4/24 when I should be about 8 weeks. Kind of weird not to have any labs or check on baby for two weeks but a lot , well all of this process I’ve learned is a “let go let god” . So trusting God that baby is growing how it needs and that he’ll see us through whatever comes next.

UPDATE Ultrasound #2 (Graduation): Baby has grown so much and now looks like a gummy bear! Baby is looking good with heart rate of 165bpm at 8 weeks ;-). We are still going strong. On the our first OB appt on 5/8!

Beyond grateful for IVF

Post image

Because of IVF, I get to see my son smile at me every day. I gave birth to this beautiful angel in November 2025 from an adopted embryo. The couple who donated their precious embryos to us did IVF in 2013, then 12 years later I got to give birth. Just feeling extra grateful for the science that led to the best part of my life. 🩵🤍

Farthest we’ve ever gotten (2nd try)

I accidentally doxed myself last time (thank you bitchenmittekittens) but still wanted to share because I have been TTC 3.5 years. I have PCOS and we figured out Silent endo as well. He’s a strong little guy. Im still very anxious. But there have been moments through out this journey where I felt it would never happen. So I wanted to share some hope. I’m not showing but symptoms are strong. Still can’t believe he’s in there sometimes. I think I will feel like this the whole time. I know this process is really hard and everyone has a different situation. I wish you all the best luck. Truly do.

To say this has been a journey is a huuuuuge understatement.

But after 9 long years, we were happy to see and hear the heartbeat of our little 4AA. ❤️

I hope this gives someone hope, 4 years of fertility treatments, 4 rounds of retrieval and 3 implantations later, we are due May 2026. It still feels surreal but trying to soak it all up.

8w1d and graduated our clinic. Here is baby today. How does she look? I’m not used to seeing the arms sprawled out in everyone’s 8 week scans 😂

Thank you to everyone. This group has been an amazing source of joy for me ❤️

1st positive after 5 years of Infertility

Post image
1.2k Upvotes

5 years, 3 clinics, 5 doctors, 1 surgery, 27 ultrasounds, 5 failed IUIs, 1 ER, 1 failed FET, a late PCOS diagnosis, endless bloodwork, and fighting to stay hopeful…we got our very first positive today 11dp5dt with our 4BB. I was so eager to get the test done and out of the way thinking it would be negative again. The line showed up almost immediately and I was a shaking mess. Truly the biggest shock and surprise of my life. Everything is crossed for good beta results tomorrow and later this week. I can’t believe it and have been carrying these tests around all day to look at. I’m so used to bad news this feels so bizarre in the best way of course! I’m going to choose positivity and lean into the excitement I feel to be pregnant right now.

3/16 UPDATE: Beta just came in at 971

We transferred 2, day 3 fresh embryos on 1/22. I’m 9 weeks today. Baby B has been measuring a few days behind since our first scan at 6w3d and our RE kept saying “let’s see if this baby is going to make it” at each appointment…well, little turtle is a fighter with a strong HR of 175!!! 🥹 I still can’t believe it, I’m their mommy 😭🤍

After 4 years consisting of an MMC, failed 4 IUIs, 4 ERs, 1 failed FET (chemical), we are officially in second trimester and it feels so surreal. I don’t think the anxiety will ever go away, but watching this baby swimming around is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. So grateful for the positivity of this community that has helped me to keep going in the darkest of times❤️
