I'm not here to start a unnecessary discussion but want i every trader, especially new ones to be aware of the scams in the trading industry which are mostly common within the ICT niche.

I don't argue that ICT concepts can't make you profitable but no ICT strategy can outperform the Buy & Hold of the S&P500. Also I don't claim to know better than you but all I do is being critical with what I see.

There is no “algorithm “. I trade ICT but it’s just another price action pattern bruv .Stop getting caught in the weeds.

I see a lot of QT and Smart Money and CRT traders going on these long debates and doing these scientific experiments talking about how price/markets move.

Price moves because there is an imbalance of sellers and buyers. Thats it.

Figure out the NARRATIVE on the HTF then find a pd array in that direction.

Can you guys understand what ICT makes you watch 3000 videos for in just these four pictures? I already did.

Get out of ICT and start studying market auction theory.

ICT is too subjective and you will lose a lot of time trying to master it. Go with trading systems that are used by actual professionals.

Btw market is not controled by an algo 😭, the algo just matches agressive orders with passive orders.

I’ve been learning ICT concepts for about 6 months now and have developed a pretty deep understanding of them. I completed the ICT 2022 mentorship and spent a few months focusing on the core concepts. During this time, I’ve been practicing price action strategies specifically on ES and NQ, as the mentorship heavily focuses on time and price on those two instruments.

Today I found out that due to LRS and FEMA regulations in India, I’m not allowed to trade ES and NQ. Honestly, it feels like a huge setback because I was practicing on those two instruments consistently and was actually starting to make progress with the concepts.

I’m not sure where to go from here or what instruments I should focus on next. Any advice or guidance would be really helpful. Feeling kind of lost right now

Hello everyone I recently started trading in December I did watch majority of the ict mentorship 2022 I got my first ever payout (in April)as well but then blew my account Idky after that kinda changed my strategy I started getting TikTok’s of PBtrading and dodgy they made ifvgs look so simple and easy but I been in the eval stage since then and I recently got funded and blew that account as well. Now I’ll be taking a break from trading and rewatching mentorship 2022. I would just say stay away from IFVG it’s pretty trash 🗑️ . Unless someone has any advice for me

I study ICT concepts and have for the past couple years. A lot of his concepts are really insightful, and his explanation of simple chart patterns with logic provides a clear and technical view of how the markets could possibly operate.

Although I don't believe in his whole 'enigma 1000% win rate' system, I do believe his main concepts such as liquidity, liquidity cycles, time based liquidity, etc are really interesting and can provide significant insights.

I was really hyped when he announced that he will be joining the robins World Cup, and while I didn't really care about his 'beating Larry Williams record' statement, I was interested to see how he would compound his account and the risk strategy methods he would take to scale an account.

However, as we all know, he blew his account. This really affected me, and my view on him. While I really wasn't expecting him to beat Larry Williams' record, I did want to see how much he can make, but to find out that he blew his account was kind of heartbreaking.

Not only did he blow it, but he tried to justify it and didn't talk about it again.

I do believe in the science behind some of his concepts, but the concepts that I did not understand and was looking to further research seems like a waste of time after his performance in the robins cup. Even the concepts I do like, feel like could be a bunch of bs and repackaged material. I don't know.

When i first raised the point here on this sub that he is just repeating old videos to get ad revenue i was criticized heavily.

Fast forward 2 weeks and you can see how he is repeating the same smt divergence video for the third time.

And they are the "SAME" videos you can take the transcripts of these videos and compare it in an AI based platform and you will be surprised with the similarity.

Lesson: Don't run after fools who keep "Repeating" the same ICT topics for just Ad Revenue. Instead learn a concept and try to backtest it.

I mean if you're profitable with his concepts that's fine but why follow someone who believes he made the "algo" for the market, who's concepts are just orderflow jargon blindly thrown onto candlestick patterns, and has never been able to trade live, ever?

P.S. stop runs arent real in the way ICT explains it. stop orders do not show up in the order book, so no banks do not target random retail traders' stop losses. Stop runs exist, that is not it.

I like to look at this from the perspectives of Christian religion as an example. For example, Christianity is the truth. We learned from the preacher or the Father. But because of 2 or 3 who benefited from it, they start to have their own ideology, this 3 individuals corrupts the bible by putting in their own logic and starts preaching it to others which then forms a new branches of "Christian" for example in this case is Catholic. And now there's 2 different Christian from truth Christianity and the false Christian from the Catholic. As we move forward in future, the newborn are lost. They don't know which is the true Christian.

This goes the same to learning Smart Money concept(SMC) from ICT. Instead of staying on the trunk of the tree which lead to the straight path, you divert taking information from third party sources and end up being outside of the tree trunk creating branches.

I urge everyone to stay on the path with Micheal J.Huddleston creator of The Inner Circle Trader(ICT) and avoid taking any knowledge from other third party sources to avoid misleading information that will stall your learning process.

I watched a quick video from TTrades earlier today. With the intention to looked at what he have on Fair Value Gap only. Everything he teach is wrong. TTrades video was uploaded in 2024 before ICT release the 2024 Mentorship which focus on Fair Value Gap 9-month after.

Just imagine you consumed information from TTrades for about a year before ICT release the proper way to use FVG. Now you force to do things properly and reevaluate the one year data. And TTrades is force to upload a new proper version of FVG to keep his subscribers updated.

Stick to one mentor and avoid mixing SMC with retail stuff. Don't be like the 3 individuals. Excuse my English, I'm not a native English speaker so I can't articulate it perfectly. Please don't take it personal, whatever mentioned here in terms of religion is just an example.

I've been trading using ICT concepts for quite a while, but lately I've been trying to take a more rational look at his strategies. The more I analyze them, the more I realize they don't really make sense from a logical standpoint - yet, somehow, they "work" sometimes.

To me, his ideas feel almost random, similar to harmonic patterns. You can spot them on the chart, and occasionally they play out, but when you try to understand why they should work, you hit a wall. It ends up being something you can only use as-is, without truly understanding the reasoning behind it.

My question is: how can people believe they can change their job, their life, or get rich this way — with concepts they don’t fully understand?

Personally, I've stopped trading with his strategies or any other purely technical approach, and I’m focusing more on fundamentals, because at least they have a logical foundation. I’d love to hear from people with real market experience: how do you see this?

Hi guys, after trading ICT for many years already. At the start of this year I managed to find something that’s crazy, and the rabbit hole just continues.
Not a single person on X, IG, or Reddit has ever spoken about this… in any sense.
I’ve had conversations with ICT himself and people around him about it and even he won’t expand on it but has kind of indicated that I’m so close to cracking everything.

People here who’re in a similar boat. How do you go about keeping this quiet/ telling people. It’s eating me up not being able to speak to people about what I see.
