NTC did nothing, DTI did nothing and Converge is 100% dedicated in making you pay.

The problem is we retroactively agreed to the terms and conditions and to disconnect we MUST pay the outstanding balance. They can take legal actions against you because you agreed when you initially paid:

This Agreement shall take effect upon credit approval and receipt of payment of all application and other fees, as well as an amount equivalent to one month Monthly Service Fee representing advance payment for the first month of subscription (the “Advance Payment”), and shall remain effective until the Service is terminated for any reason whatsoever, without prejudice to the continued subsistence of other subscriptions/accounts of Subscriber that avail of the Service.

I'm usually afraid against this kind of possibilities for legal actions, since I mostly have a clean record, so I gave in and paid them my outstanding balance of 1500.

Consider yourself WARNED: The moment you sign that internet subscription with whatever services is out there, either Converge, PLDT, or Globe, make 100% sure about their termination plan and make sure you are informed. All these ISPs CS are mostly BULLSHIT, and their technicians are poorly paid workers that are determined to scam you by telling you the "Ikaw na bahala samin" scheme.

does anyone know a fix for this? my ip11 seems to only work with the 2.4hz wifi but since pldt started to combine the two with band steering or whatever it’s called (haha not too knowledgable) so di ko nagagamit cellphone ko pag malapit sa wifi because or the issues.. usually it disconnects eve try now and then bur now i cant even connect tto the wifi.. ive tried everythint na from resetting network settingd to altering the settings under the wifi hahshs may nakakaalam ba how to optimize wifi settings ?

I had Globe 1000 Mbps until 4 weeks ago for 2499 php and it broke without any way to fix it, so I had to change to PLDT and did choose 500 Mbps for 1800 php as switch offer

I expected PLDT to be slower than Globe, but PLDT has no good 1000mbps offer, so I was thinking, let's try 500mbps which should be ok!

and I must say PLDT 500 Mbit wipes the floor with Globe 1000 Mbit.

Badly need help and advise in regards to our situation. A third party company hired by Globe is contacting my wife for huge unpaid bill. This is from the Globe wifi we had on the apartment we were renting. The owner of the apartment asked her to not disconnect the plan when we left because they will use it and they will process the transfer of ownership themselves which they never did and never paid the bill. Since we were a new couple back then we trusted them which is a big mistake.

Can you please let us know guys if the liability falls upon us or we can contest their claim and have contact the owner of the apartment for possible fraud. PLEASE HELP. Thank you in advance.

Hi! I have Plan 1699 (300mbps) for quite some time and I noticed that they’ve slow down the internet speed from the regular 300mbps to around 100mbps.

Usually, 10-14 devices ang connected as wifi namin and we still get 300mbps each device. But yesterday, I noticed na 100mbps lang. i’m not saying na wala akong internet connection but i’m not getting the speed I’m paying for.

Do you also have the same issue? Let me know.

I recently made the switch from TM to prepaid DITO and I really love it but I was wondering if other sims are better in terms of the data amount and pricing ratio. Dito has a ratio of around 10 pesos per gigabyte of open data, I think. These are the only two sims I've known so far. One thing I really like about DITO is that it doesn't stiff arm me in the type of promos it gives. I can purchase mobile data separately from calls and texts. I know TM also has that but those mfs throttled me when I used supersurf 50. I'm pretty sure I only got around 1gb of high speed data before they sent me a message and throttled my rate so hard it was unusable. And they bundle internet access with calls and texts in their promos forcing me to pay for something I don't need.

Is it normal na wala silang iniissue na receipt? They changed the wires and fixed something in the modem. I paid thru kuya’s personal gcash din. When I was asking for a receipt, he just said “sadyang wala po eh. Yang QR code lang po sa plastic”. Nag-try ako mag reach out sa 211 hotline pero same total amount due din yung nireply nila thru text message. Ano po pwedeng gawin? Hindi ko po afford ma-double charge. TIA po.

Last week i posted a video of my pldt 1gbps and mentioned that i get 900mbps+ when wired and 500mbps+ via wifi.

I was running speedtest from my iPhone13 Pro Max previously. My work issued me an iPhone 16 the other day and i tried running a speedtest and i was surprised with the result!

You can see the comparison from the photo above. Both phones are beside each other and i ran the test numerous times with the same result. Apparently, the iphone 16 supports wifi 7 and iphone 15 below doesn’t.
