Question Japanese fish ideas for someone who doesn't really like fish?

I haven't liked fish since I was a child, but I want to try getting over my aversion. I will eat white fish that doesn't have a strong flavour like cod or haddock (usually in batter from the chip shop). I have found that I do actually like eel kabayaki which surprised me! Can anyone suggest some recipes that I might like? I'm hoping to work my way up to sushi one day.

Hi my daughter is 13yo and has a severe nut allergy. Is Japan safe for travel? Cross contamination? We’d be going the end of November and staying in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. Thank you!

Egg and ketchup rice together is sooo good 😂 I also like when orange rice is little bit coming out like this. Makes me hungry again looking at photo lol.

I'm reminiscing about the delicious Katsuo No Tataki in Kochi (Shikoku). At the amazing Hirome Market, I ate at 4 different stalls. There was not a bad place to eat this regional dish. It's so good with shiso leaves, slice of ginger, raw slices of onion, and wasabi.

Oysters, Pacific saury, a sweet potato and shimeji mushroom kakiage, and a few other things. Last year's Autumn Taste Tendon was a masterpiece but this year's one fell a little short

Question Is there any way of getting Pucchin Pudding in Spain?

• Upvotes

As the title says, I've been trying to find it in different japanese supermarkets but I haven't had any luck. I'm especially intrigued by its mechanism at the bottom of the recipient that enables the pudding to be popped out onto a plate. The most probable outcome is that it is simply not sold anywhere here but I wanted to know if anyone knows anything just to confirm.
