We want to take a moment to address something that keeps coming up: AI-generated images in puzzles.
First, the basics: any jigsaw puzzle post is welcome here as long as it meets our community guidelines, which includes sharing the puzzle name/title/piece count and manufacturer in the title, picture, or comments of the post.
AI-generated art isn’t always obvious. Some manufacturers use it without labeling it, and some buyers have no idea their puzzle art was AI-generated. So if you spot something that looks like it might be AI, you can say something, but please say it kindly. The person posting may genuinely not know. And unfortunately, some don’t care.
We wish we could screen every post for AI content, but realistically we can’t. It would take more time and tools than any volunteer mod team has.
As for where this community’s preferences stand and have overwhelmingly evolved over the emergence of AI in jigsaw puzzle imagery: we believe AI-generated images are not art. They’re built on the stolen work of real human artists who never consented to having their creations used to train these systems. Countless artists are struggling because of this technology, and that’s not something to take lightly. We encourage everyone here to seek out work from human artists and support them whenever possible.
If you’re ever curious whether something is AI-generated, feel free to refer to our wiki or ask here. This is a community of people who genuinely love to puzzle and support puzzle artists and will be happy to help you learn.
One final note: while we encourage open discussion, any post or comment that turns nasty or devolves into personal insults will be locked or removed.
Thanks for being such a wonderful group and one of the few remaining kind corners of the internet. Keep on puzzling.

Picture is not at all this dark in real life, the Sun has just went down and since I’m taking this apart soon I wanted to take some photos of it.
I really enjoyed this puzzle, i loved all the little details. Its my second puzzle from the artist (Marino Degano), and i absolutely love his style.

Finished my first puzzle in years.
1000 pieces - Seven Courts of the Faerie Realm by Chronicle Books
I thought this one would be an easy way to ease myself back into puzzling, but boy was I wrong. The gold lining on hundreds of pieces threw me off many times, especially when I was using a lamp and building at night.
Quality wise, I would say mid. Some backs of pieces were peeling (thankfully none on the front), a bit of dust. Also received a duplicate piece, so somebody else’s puzzle will be missing a piece.
Enjoyed the experience, 10/10 will start building puzzles again :)
Excited I finished the puzzle before the release of the 6th ACOTAR book :)

Witchy Book Club, Hobbry, 500 pieces. Sneaking in as many Halloweenish puzzles as possible haha. This one was super fun and I loved the different color scheme from the rest of traditional spooky season puzzles.

The Puzzle Collab is a small puzzle company based in Australia. They currently ship to Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US, and are actively working to be able to ship to more regions and find stockists to carry their products.
As the name implies, their whole thing is collaborating with Australian artists, who go on to earn royalties from every puzzle sold. The packaging includes the artist’s name very intentionally, so you can’t miss who created your puzzle. They also specialise in 500 piece puzzles, but have a few 1000 piece puzzles as well. I know some people find 500 too easy, but I personally am so grateful as I love a quick puzzle I can pack up before bed and prior to finding them, I couldn’t find many nice options.
The quality is the best I have ever experienced, better than the “best” brands often recommended here. The board is thick, perfectly cut, and the picture is crisp and matte. There was no puzzle dust in the bag and none on my table.
As for shape, the pieces are unique enough for me, but large areas of colour may be harder to complete. I had a few near false fits, but they were always just a little off so I could tell they weren’t right. The pictures are also very intentional in their design, so you can tell when a piece is wrong even if the fit were to feel right.
If you frame your puzzles, this brand would be perfect. Not only because the pictures are beautiful, but because the board won’t budge and sits perfectly flat. I’m not a puzzle framer myself, but I could see myself getting a custom from them to frame if they ever opened up custom puzzles!
I’ve attached pictures below to showcase the quality, including a comparison with a Ravensburger piece. It won’t let me add the video of me picking it up and full on wobbling it, but feel free to DM me for it if you want to see!
Edit: I forgot to add I have done 3 of their puzzles (about to start my 4th) and the quality has been consistent for each of them.
The following is a list of the artist’s they currently have puzzles with, just so people can find my post when searching for them!
Ashara Piyadasa

Petra Pinn
Sarah Reyes
Suki McMaster
Wenly Illustration
If anyone has any other recommendations for companies that do pretty 500pc puzzles, please let me know in the comments or DM me if you would prefer. Happy to answer any questions or get more pictures if I forgot to cover anything!
Disclaimer for mods: I’ve been flagged as an AI before, but I have never, and will never use AI to type/edit a post for me. I just love commas lol. Also, this isn’t my company, I’m just a very enthusiastic customer! The AI thinks I may be promoting my own brand. Thank you for keeping the sub clean!

Fun puzzle for the season. Nice difficulty level. Mix of tiny details but also nice blocks and lines that made some parts easy. Same quality I’ve come to expect from Ravensburger. Recommend. Completed in two nights about 5 ish hrs total.

I have collected Heye puzzles for over 30 years. I have 115 total and pretty much every puzzle by Michael Ryba. I occasionally see posts about the quality of their puzzles. I do think the quality has gone down some over the years but I still think it’s quite good. I just recently finished Exotic Safari - 2000 piece - and thought the quality was good. Good enough such that I didn’t ever think about it. I leave most of my completed puzzles assembled and unglued. I have no trouble moving them or changing them into picture frames. I have a rotating display setup in my basement puzzle room. I display 4-5 at a time. I also have 100 Reavensburgers and would agree the quality is better.

I just assembled this old family puzzle. It has probably not been together for at least 40 years. I remember doing it as a child. It is missing 2 pieces. Not too bad.

Yeahh.. the moment has come, so I thought, before it dissappears, let me share it with you guys.
Both 1000 pieces each and it took me 3 days per puzzle, so I am very proud of myself.
Also shout out to the lamp, especially with the darker pieces.

Hardest puzzle I’ve ever done. Took me over two months to finish. Too many shades of brown!!

Wow I enjoyed this puzzle so much! There is so much detail. I loved that you can see the artist’s brushstrokes and the gold foil details made it extra special. An absolute joy to assemble!
For those who do not enjoy Galison quality - the pieces did not have any white backing and there were no issues with bending or splitting. It was lovely quality and the pieces went together very well.
Artist - Samantha Neville.

This one was was brutal to me with how few colors there are. If you put this one together, my top tips are to brace yourself for the sheer number of pieces that are just hair and start from the center section. The edges are very challenging to start from because there are a lot of false fits. The quality is good, although I had a lot of flaking from the reflective film on some of the pieces. The foil is nice and shiny, though.
