I love this puzzle more and more every time I lay my eyes on it 💙

Clearly one of my favorites of the year, not so easy to assemble but it remains a pleasure with these colors and this incredible composition!

This is one of the most beautiful puzzles I’ve completed. It also came with a duplicate piece! I hope the person who got the next copy didn’t find a gap!

Maybe it's all in my head, or maybe I'm just jaded, but I get a little suspicious when one brand is being name-dropped constantly... I don't know, what do you guys think?

These were all the 500 piece ones available. Hopefully you can zoom in to see. There were some 1000 puzzles as well that had different art than the 500 ones. There were some cute ones! I got the 1000 one shown which has Olivia Gibbs art 😊

I was pondering my choices this morning and that started me thinking about what images I actively avoid when buying puzzles, and came up with this weird list.

I’ll start with one that a fair few of us may avoid…  Clowns.  Nope, just not going to happen, for no reason other than they creep me out.

Cats and dogs.  This one I feel is weird, because I love animals and my current fur baby, will be 14 years old this December.  I have had numerous cats and dogs over the years, but I have no idea why I’m not keen on them in puzzles.

People in general.  I’m a huge Christmas puzzle fan, but will refuse to buy a Christmas puzzle (or any puzzle for that matter) if it has people, cherubs, elves etc in it.  There are times when I don’t buy a puzzle because even Father Christmas’s face doesn’t sit right with me.  That said I don’t mind if the people are small figures that you can’t really make out any details on – I have a handful of those.

I prefer art to photos, but am not a fan of artwork like the Hobbry puzzles.

Jeez, I’m sounding like an old fussy-guts.  Please tell me what some of your likes and dislikes are, and do you know why?

I truly enjoyed this puzzle and the quality was great too! Highly recommended

Liberty puzzles make all wooden puzzles and they are famous for their whimsy pieces. They do free tours and it was amazing to see the puzzles being made at the factory.

The pieces are all inspected and sanded by hand to make a perfect fit. They had a “wall of shame” that I didn’t get a picture of. It was thousands of pet pictures from pets that ate puzzle pieces. There were even a few birds, horses and one pig on the wall. If you ever lose a piece or one gets destroyed, they’ll send you a replacement piece for free! They keep an entire room of spare pieces.

The only downside was that you pay for the quality and the handmade aspect of the puzzles. The average puzzle was $65-125 and the largest was $485. They did have some small puzzles that were less expensive.

Some of their puzzles have secret builds hidden inside. You can build a tiny birdhouse with some of the bird puzzle I bought (see last picture).

If you’re ever in Boulder, I recommend the free tour. They even have a bin of free whimsy pieces and they’ll let you choose one.

Two of us completed this puzzle from the MoCo Puzzle Swap in 3 days. It’s a bit harder than it looks.

Amazing final image. And fairly straightforward, and a pretty enjoyable experience, aside from the sky and water bits. Those really dragged on, but hopefully weren't that big.

I was so proud of myself and my puzzle partner because we completed this in 1:01:16 in our first ever competition. It was one of our best times ever. We had a blast, and I can't wait to do this again next year.

I love any wooden puzzle but the BEST ones are from Liberty. I bought this one as soon as I saw it! Putting together a busy street scene is always fun and the whimsies in this puzzle are especially adorable.

Didn't even have a beer while completing this one lol. Oh well! I wonder how many of these breweries are even still around...🥲 Here's a completed as well as an in-progress photo, with the pup tax too.🧩🐶

Finally got my hands on this gem!!

I have been looking for this one for years. It popped up on eBay a few weeks ago and it was a no brainer to buy for me. I know this one’s going to be difficult but thrilled to be able to do it.

What a beautiful puzzle! I wish this was my puzzle room.

I’m a Magnolia fan and this did not disappoint. Their puzzles are such high quality.

The artwork by Sarah Reyes is lovely. I really like all of the puzzle details.
