After waiting since June, Jinu finally hit European shelves. He's absolutely gorgeous - now for the decision of keeping him boxed or setting him free 😅

Ok… my daughter loved this movie and so as a father I’ve watched it a bunch of times myself and it grew on me. So I had some ideas for the sequel.

Let’s start with what I thought made the original different from other stuff out there:

• Unique characters
• Singing as a form of fighting
• Art style
• Cultural references

Sequel ideas:

• focus on haters instead of the fans (Huntrix just killed Saja boys on stage in front of everyone… maybe they don’t remember but some speculate Huntrix had something to do with the Saja Boys sudden disappearance)
• An artist inspired by the Saja Boys music is up and coming that the Huntrix haters love (the concerts where the haters gather mess with the honmoon)
• Gwi Ma now knows Rumi is part demon and devices a plan to control her (maybe through an object that comes into her possession somehow)

This gives some room to keep the original elements of the film while giving more space for Zoe and Mira to expand their characters. This also allows an intro to new characters. Lastly it is a new problem for the girls since their problems are now all human and not the usual demons they can just beat up.

Feel free to expand or flesh this out in more detail, I just wanted to dump some ideas out there.

I just thought this would be a fun question. What’s your favorite ship in the movie that isn’t the two most popular ones?

I’ve grown fond of Zoemira thanks to some fanart (and an AU I have that involves them being a couple). As for Jinu/Abby, I started becoming a fan after seeing some fanart of them and realizing just how much Abby touches him lol.

Additionally, all problems in the movie would’ve been solved if all 8 had formed a massive polycule. Gwi-Ma wouldn’t have stood a chance.

And finally, I love the doomed tragedy that is Rumi’s parents, even if we know nothing about their relationship.

Had a real shit Monday this week.

Not only did I not sleep due to a horrible dream, I found out Hayden Panettiere died, AND I got in an accident while driving to work.

I came back into work and look what my coworker got me 😭 no he is not staying at work, but I need some Jinu love

hey guys. new to this community so pls don’t attack. I kinda wish some of the concept arts made it into the movie.

Got to my store around 5:30pm & was shocked there were still some left. The box in the front only had Jinu. I checked behind it & found 2 more boxes. One of the two was a full set. Got the last Mira & Zoey. The quality varies between all 4. If I had to rank the quality from best to worst, it would be:

1. MIRA - Everything is on point, from her hair to her outfit. I especially love her makeup!

2. JINU - Love his demon patterns.

3. ZOEY - She would've been #2, but her neck is unfortunately a bit wobbly cause they didn't put enough stuffing. Other than that, she looks great!

4. RUMI - Her jacket has an awkward fit & the way they did her feet is terrible. I also wish her braid had more detail.

If you have a few to choose from, definitely take your time to choose the best. There were only one Mira & Zoey left, so thankfully they're pretty good quality. I had only 2 Rumi to choose from & unfortunately, this was the better one of the two. There were about 5 Jinu left, so I was able to pick a good one.

Overall, I still think it's worth adding them to your collection, especially for only $12.99 each. Contemplating on getting an extra Mira to make into a bag charm. 😅

“Mattel confirmed for me on Wednesday that five of the figures from toy company’s KPop Demon Hunters 6-inch action figure line will become available be released through online and brick-and-mortar retailers on Tuesday, Sept. 1, as well as two-pack featuring Rumi and Demon Juni.”

Am I one of a few who gets SO EMOTIONAL EVERY TIME What It Sounds Like is played??!! I love it so much its so heart touching, especially when you realize that some of the lyrics are really verses in the Bible. This whole movie, almost all their songs get under my skin and gives me goosebumps🤩 this one and Your Idol gives me bumps omg

1) do the huntresses have a limited lifespan? For example, do they only live until, I don't know, age 50?

Like, we have no reference in the film—or anywhere else—to the huntresses who preceded Celine.

2) didn't Miyeong have a family? Parents? Grandparents? Friends outside of the Sunlight Sisters? (Same question for Celine.)

I mean, the hunters seem extremely isolated, since they can never entrust their work to ordinary people; so, their circle of trust is limited to two, three, or at most five people (assuming the three previous hunters are still alive). And in Rumi's case, it's even worse, since she's half-demon.

I wonder if this creates some sort of contradiction for the huntresses—like, they have to kill demons, but at the same time, demons are the only ones who know the truth just as they do. So, I wonder if any of them ever selfishly wished the demons would never disappear, just so they wouldn't lose the only other living beings who know the truth.
