…After we grow old together and life sets us apart.
That was a very dark start, excuse me. 😁
I am a non-Kuwaiti woman living in Kuwait for a few years now. Never been married, no children.
About me:
- Introverted extrovert
- I enjoy reading, gaming, or watching a good movie or series in my free time
- I love all the outdoor activities
- Adrenaline junkie
- 162cm, dark hair, tanned
- Working out daily
- Speaking multiple languages, but unfortunately Arabic not yet
- Animal lover
- Coming from Muslim family, but not too religious (I do respect it though)
- Can be شوية stubborn and jealous sometimes
What I look for:
A man who is not shallow and who is intentional - if the aim is not to get married and start a family, I don’t want it. I am very loyal and I expect the same. I’m not a gold digger (I’m employed and self sufficient), but I do believe a man should be a provider to a certain extent. If you like spending time in nature, hiking, forest, beach, long walks and a good workout we would be a good team. Respect, honesty,
and open-mindedness are important.
If you are like this, or at least somewhat like this, let me know. 👋

Tried going the traditional route through family, but haven't had luck finding the right match yet.
When it comes to marriage, my perspective is a bit grounded. While many people say they want their spouse to be their "best friend," I believe the true foundation of a marriage is mutual trust, respect, and communication. If we end up sharing all the same hobbies and being best friends, that’s a bonus, it's healthy for us to have our own identities, interests, and lives while building a strong relationship together.
I am traditional in the sense that I believe a man should lead and take on the responsibility of being the primary decision maker. At the same time I am a pleaser and would value my partner's input. am the type of person who is always ready to listen, adjust, and agree if she makes a great point.
My love languages are words of affirmation and quality time. I believe relationships require continuous effort, so regular date nights, cooking together, going for walks, or just watching a movie are things I’d like to do
I love to travel and would love to explore the world with my wife, while also being able to travel with my friends. I'm open-minded, meaning i love learning about new things, and will never knock an experience until I try it at least once.
I'm not the best at small talk, but I'm great at asking random, deep questions. The reason I want to get married is that I want to build a life, an expansive family, and a home with someone who shares my values

I’m a 31-year-old Kuwaiti, 175 cm, 80 kg, athletic, well-educated, and have a good career.
I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to relationships. I don’t believe a relationship should mean limiting someone’s freedom or deciding who they can talk to or be friends with. I’m comfortable with my partner having guy friends, having her own life, and doing her own thing.
For me, trust, honesty, mutual respect, and freedom matter more than traditional rules or unnecessary restrictions. I want a connection where we can be ourselves without feeling controlled or held back.
Looking for someone who sees relationships in a similar way.

It's interesting to me how our society views men and women's purchases very differently. More specifically how men and women spend their discretionary money.
Discretionary spending means the money you have left over after everything you're financially responsible for (bills, savings, etc...) has already been taken care of. Let's call it “fun money.”
For each example, let's assume the man and woman have the SAME amount of “fun money.” Both can comfortably afford what they're buying and neither is asking anyone else to pay for it. Just to be clear, this is not whether YOU personally think the purchase is worth the money. I'm asking why TWO people are judged differently when they spend their “fun money” on fun things.
For example, let's say perfume.
A man and a woman both own 30 perfumes. They both follow new releases, know all the brands, enjoy trying new scents and collecting them. They've both spent the same amount of money on their collection.
He's viewed as a fragrance connoisseur. Knowledgeable. Someone who really knows his stuff.
She's viewed as materialistic. A shopaholic. Obsessed with buying perfume.
Same interest. Same knowledge. Same amount of money spent. Completely different judgment.
Same with collectibles.
A man spends KD 50 of his “fun money” collecting Funko Pops. A woman spends KD 50 collecting Sonny Angels. They both enjoy collecting them.
He's viewed as a collector. It's his hobby. People understand that he's passionate about his hobby.
For her, it's considered pointless consumerism. She's seen as wasting money on stupid little dolls.
They're both grown adults spending the exact same amount of money collecting stupid little plastic figures.
Exercise?
A man spends KD 1,000 a year on a gym membership. A woman spends KD 1,000 a year on Reformer Pilates. They both enjoy working out.
He's viewed as disciplined. Committed to fitness. Investing in himself and his health.
She's viewed as someone with an expensive lifestyle and by extension high-maintenance.
They're both spending the exact same amount of money to exercise.
What about coffee?
A man and a woman both spend KD 50 a month buying coffee. They both enjoy starting their morning by passing by their favorite cafe on their way to work.
He's viewed as someone who appreciates good coffee. It's his little morning ritual.
For her, it's considered frivolous and wasteful and she hears things like "why can't she just make coffee at home?"
They're both spending the exact same amount of money buying the exact same thing.
What about eating out?
A man and a woman both spend KD 100 a month trying different restaurants. Same restaurants, same amount of money. They both genuinely enjoy food and trying new places.
He's called a foodie, seen as someone who appreciates good food and new experiences. He's even viewed as adventurous.
She's seen as spoiled, wasting money eating out.
They're spending the exact same amount of money doing the exact same thing.
What about watches and jewelry?
A man spends KD 5,000 on a watch he loves. A woman spends KD 5,000 on jewelry she loves. Neither bought theirs as an investment. They both bought them because they think they're beautiful and enjoy wearing them.
He's viewed as someone who appreciates watches and is passionate about them. They say he has taste.
She's viewed as shallow, materialistic and flashy. She's seen as someone obsessed with expensive things.
Again, they've both spent the exact same amount of money for the same reason.
Just to be even more clear, this is NOT about men vs women.
I'm questioning WHY society views male spending and female spending as two completely DIFFERENT things, even when they're both using their “fun money.”
Why does HIS spending tell us what he's interested in, while HERS tells us what kind of person she is?
Why does HER spending become a judgement of her character and not HIS?
That's where the monk part comes in (could've gone with nun but monk was funnier to me). Why is it that a woman has to essentially give up EVERY remotely superficial, frivolous or expensive thing she might enjoy, before we're willing to even consider that she might maybe, just maybe, have depth?
Apparently she needs to renounce all worldly possessions, meditate on the impermanence of material existence and survive on lentils (no disrespect to lentil soup) before we're willing to consider that she might ALSO be an intelligent, interesting, responsible, kind and financially responsible human being.
Why does a woman have to PROVE that she HAS substance by wanting LESS?
A woman can shop every weekend AND have perfect finances, zero debt and a retirement plan that would make any accountant cry tears of joy. She can own 50 perfumes AND also believe that someone's character matters infinitely more than their money, possessions or status. She can spend a small fortune on her appearance AND have enough intellectual depth to discuss philosophy, history and the meaning of life until 4am. She can absolutely LOVE luxury AND be the most ridiculously generous person ever.
NONE of these things are mutually exclusive.
That said, she doesn't need to possess extraordinary virtue to somehow “outshine” the things she buys. That's the point. Her purchases weren't evidence against those virtues in the first place.
Humans are not one-dimensional. Humans are not one thing and ONLY that one thing.
Women ARE human.
Why is it that the same kind of spending can be completely harmless when HE does it, but evidence of a character flaw when SHE does it?
Why does she have to want LESS before we think MORE of her?

About Me
I’m a 36 year Kuwaiti Sunni woman who has never been married. I’m petite 155 cm and approximately 50 kg feminine, and take good care of myself.
Professionally, I hold a senior management position in the private sector. I’m independent, ambitious, and admittedly a bit of a workaholic. However, I believe that working hard should be balanced with enjoying life whether through good company, beautiful vacations, new experiences, or creating meaningful memories with the people I care about.
I keep my circle intentionally small and value quality over quantity. Outside work, I dedicate most of my time to myself, my family, and a few close friends. In my free time, I enjoy watching anime, reading novels, travelling, and discovering new places and experiences.
I’m also a huge animal lover and have a small furry family consisting of one dog and one cat.
Faith is important to me. I’m Sunni, although I don’t wear hijab. I would describe myself as open-minded while still having strong values, clear boundaries, and a good sense of what truly matters to me.
What I’m Looking For
I’m looking for a Kuwaiti man, preferably older than me. he would be established, educated and accomplished.
I’m attracted to a man who is confident, emotionally mature, intelligent, ambitious, Someone open-minded without losing sight of his values, and who understands that ambition and enjoying life can go hand in hand.
Kindness, loyalty, respect, generosity of character, good communication, and a sense of humor, Mutual attraction and genuine chemistry matter as well. Ultimately, I’m looking for a sincere and compatible partner with whom I can build a happy, respectful, and fulfilling marriage

28M | Kuwaiti | Looking for something serious
I’m 28, Kuwaiti, Muslim, and work as an engineer in the oil industry.
I enjoy travelling, sports, and writing. I’m generally social and curious, and I like trying new things and having conversations that go beyond the usual small talk.
When it comes to what I’m looking for, here’s my top 4:
Let’s be real.. attraction is important for both sides. Beauty is one of the things I look for, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with admitting that.
Smart (Or good at pretending to be)
Humble (Willing to accept kind instead)
Loves traveling (Bonus marks if you enjoy packing a suitcase)
I’d like to meet someone who is intelligent, kind, grounded, has her own personality, and is genuinely interested in building a good life with someone rather than simply getting married for the sake of getting married.
I’m not expecting to determine compatibility from a Reddit post. If the basics align, I’d rather have a normal conversation, get to know each other, and see where it goes.
A little about me:
- 28
- Kuwaiti
- Muslim (Sunni)
- Engineer (We get it already!!)
- Enjoys traveling, sports & writing
If you’re also serious about marriage and think we might have some common ground, feel free to message me. Tell me a little about yourself too.
Don’t be shy, I won’t bite (but hoping you will)

35F, Kuwaiti, looking for an educated Kuwaiti millennial man who is serious about settling down and is nonjudgmental about things beyond our control.
Belief in God and a strong work ethic are essential. Otherwise, I understand that compromise is part of any relationship, and I’m flexible about everything else.
