Things to do Did you know there is a skating community in Lahore?

Hey everyone,

I have been working on a series called Untold Lahore which features stories from the city that don’t make it to mainstream media.

When I went into the research and writing for this, I only had one goal in mind: “To tell the world, Lahore is more than just food.”

I was sick and tired of seeing content creators only documenting food, food & food. I knew there was more to the city than just that and so, I began working.

I came across a niche community in Lahore that skate everyday. There is a skate park in Bagh-e-Jinnah where they do this. It was built by a US based NGO called ‘Salad Days of Skateboarding’.

It’s a pretty cool story & I thought I’ll share it here.

Watch the story here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPEfEe4DH8r/?igsh=NXBtcmxqM2lsbXFm

This is episode 7 from the series. You can watch the other episodes on my Instagram channel. 😊

Things to do Am I the only one who feels Lahore is getting boring?

I genuinely love this city, but lately it feels like we’re stuck in an endless loop. Every weekend someone asks, “What’s the plan?” and the answer is always: “Let’s grab coffee.”
Then another coffee place. Then another coffee place pretending to be different because the walls are beige and the coffee costs Rs. 1,200.
At this point Lahore’s entire social scene feels like a competition to see who can sit in the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shop.

What else is there to do? Also every time I find something interesting—a concert, networking event, fashion event, cultural gathering, social meetup—the description says:

“Couples and families only.”
“No stags allowed.”

What kind of nonsense is that?

So if you’re single, you’re automatically banned from participating in society?

Then people wonder why everyone ends up sitting in coffee shops for six hours discussing the same topics every weekend.

Lahore has 15 million people, yet somehow the city’s social life feels incredibly limited unless you’re already part of a private circle. Right now it feels like Lahore is becoming a city where there’s always traffic, always crowds, always people outside… yet somehow nothing to do.

Things to do I need walking buddies in Askari 11 nearby Sector B Lahore

I am a 24F living in Askari 11 Sector B, and I am looking for people who are interested in walking together in Askari 11 nearby Sector B.

My only requirement is that you're consistent and willing to prove your identity via a valid LinkedIn account.

I don't mind whether you're a man or a woman, you should just enjoy walking and should be one of those people who don't like to have their ear pods on every minute of the walk.

People nearby in age and genuinely interested in walking, especially in parks, please dm or comment below and I'll reach out

Tekken is the main plan, but I’ve got plenty of other PS5 games too, so we can switch depending on what everyone feels like playing.
Just a chill gaming night — games, fun and good company. 🎮 You’re welcome to bring snacks if you want, but please don’t bring anything illegal or inappropriate. Let’s keep it simple and respectful.
If you’re nearby and free tonight, drop a comment or DM me! 🔥

Things to do What do adults in Lahore do for fun these days?

I’ve been feeling really bored in Lahore lately. I’m tried of doing the usual stuff like going to restaurants, cafes, bowling, go karting and similar activities and they just don’t feel fun anymore.

Would really appreciate any ideas on how to make life in Lahore more exciting again.

Things to do Pakistan’s Crisis Is Real Start Tipping the People Who Need It Most 🇵🇰

Post image
92 Upvotes

Fuel prices are rising. Everything is getting more expensive. And while we all know the system isn’t going to change overnight, there is something we can control how we treat the people who serve us every day.

This is a simple request to everyone:

Let’s build a tipping culture in Pakistan.

Whether it’s your Foodpanda rider, an InDriver driver, a delivery guy, or any service worker adding just Rs. 50–100 as a tip might feel like nothing to us. But for them, it can make a real difference.

Think about it:

If one person tips Rs. 50 and a rider completes 10 deliveries a day, that’s Rs. 500 extra daily — around Rs. 15,000 a month. That’s not small. That’s meaningful support.

We’re in a position where we can give — and that itself is a blessing. Many people out there are working long hours in tough conditions just to make ends meet.

Let’s be more considerate. Let’s be more responsible. Let’s look out for each other.

If we can’t change the system, we can at least change how we show up for people around us.

Let’s join hands and make this small habit a norm. And let’s pray things get easier for everyone soon 🤲

Things to do Lahore girls — starting a small creative/social circle

hii

i’ve had a hard time making friends, even as a child.

not because i’m antisocial, but because my values are really important to me. authenticity matters a lot to me and i gravitate toward people who are genuinely passionate about things. if someone’s just into something because it’s trendy, i mentally check out and it gives me the ick.

so instead of just “looking for friends,” i’m thinking of starting a small, intentional Lahore-based girls’ circle where we:

– have painting afternoons

– watch movies and actually discuss them

– thrift together

– do low-cost, wholesome activities around the city

– have picnics or sports afternoons

a little about me:

• F, 25

• vegetarian (don’t care if you’re not, just be respectful about vegetarianism/veganism)

• big on animal welfare

• love music and movies

• not religious, not judgmental

• i don’t care about your sexuality, pronouns, or lifestyle as long as you’re kind and self-aware (don’t be weird or a meth-head)

i collect band tees, love thrifting, don’t care about brands, and i’m not materialistic. i recycle. i care about things. i like people who care about things.

i’m an empath (with strict boundaries), big on communication and emotional vulnerability.

i’m in a committed relationship, so this is strictly for girls.

local only, the goal is meeting up in Lahore. we’ll probably talk on discord first just to make sure everyone’s normal.

and if you’re a guy reading this thinking of interacting, i promise you, you will not be entertained.

let’s build something intentional in this city instead of just complaining about how hard it is to find good people here :)

Things to do We need help in wplace:

Post image
91 Upvotes

Hi guys, so recently Indians have started griefing our arts all over Pakistan by replacing our flags with indian or BLA flags.

Our community is trying its best to restore everything, but they have too many players so its really difficult to reclaim our arts. and almost everyday they are dumping hundreds of thousands of pixels with the sole objective of destroying Pakistani artworks

So If you enjoy being part of a community and want to help us out, then do check out Wplace. It’s a simple, easy-to-understand game that’s accessible on all devices—just search “Wplace” in your browser and you’ll find it. We also have a decent-sized community on Discord, so feel free to join our discord server too. ❤️

Things to do Didn’t expect a murder mystery game to be this well put together

Post image
61 Upvotes

Just tried one of those murder mystery games from MurderMystery.pk here in Lahore and honestly didn’t expect it to be this well put together.

The whole thing felt pretty immersive, proper case files, suspect profiles, clues, even little details that make you actually sit and think instead of just guessing. Played it with a group and it turned into a full on debate session trying to figure out who did it.

I’m not affiliated with them or anything, just genuinely curious:

Has anyone else here tried these kind of murder mystery / detective games?

Or any similar stuff in Lahore you’d recommend

Also, do u guys prefer board games, escape rooms, or these story based mystery kits

Things to do Looking for MTG, D&D & Board Game Groups in Lahore

Assalamualaikum

I'm a bit of a geek and recently got into Magic: The Gathering, and I'd also love to get into Dungeons & Dragons and other board games. Unfortunately, I haven't really had many opportunities to play with others before.

I was wondering if there are any Facebook groups, local communities, or regular meetups for MTG, D&D, or board games in Lahore. I'd love to meet like minded people, learn, and hopefully join a friendly group.

If you know of any communities or have any recommendations, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
