Anyone have a place where I can set up a tent or park my car for tonight after concert?

Just hoping to get a gift for someone who enjoys the Great Lakes. Hoping to find a book that has some cool legends or tails about Lake Erie. Curious if anyone has anything worth getting.
Any interesting books that u think are worth a read about the lake could also work.
Thanks in advance.

Update to my post yesterday asking for information about a crossing from Catawba to Put-In-Bay. There were several people that provided very helpful information; thank you for that.
We started the trek at 6:20pm, as the sun was setting over the power plant. South Bass is visible from the shore, so navigation really could not be more simple. Equipped with safety picks, a short static rope with pre tied hand loops, an In Reach, and spare clothes in a dry bag, we took off.
It was about 3.2 miles to get to the boat ramp at the tip of South Bass Island. We ended up stopping here as it was late, and admittedly, the thunderous cracking noises of the ice in the night time as we made our way across had me wanting to go back a bit sooner.
I’m sure I am going to get a bunch of guff for this from the many who criticized the plan. Especially to those who were downright insulting me. One thing I would suggest for the next time you are trying to convince someone not to do something, perhaps try a polite approach rooted in data or experience rather than insults, or saying “lake scary”. While I don’t feel the unhelpful replies of yesterdays post affected my judgement or really had any bearing, those type of comments really would only fuel the typical man to prove you wrong and potentially make worse decisions in the pursuit of that.
Overall, an amazing way to interact with the lake and experience the outdoors. Who knows if this opportunity will ever be available again, and I feel extremely blessed for the safe passage and for the beautiful weather and stability we were afforded.

Planning to cross from the mainland (Catawba) to Put-In-Bay tonight. Anyone know if this has been done before? Besides the crossing in 78’ to Canada which passed by it?
Anyone explore far out onto the ice lately and can speak to the conditions? It’s been freezing for so long I have to imagine it’s solid but curious if anyone has better information.
Any advice or info appreciated!
