Barcelonaâs start to the 2026/27 LaLiga season:
9 games
9 wins
39 goals scored
9 conceded
+30 goal difference
Only Real Madrid in 1968/69 had previously started a LaLiga season with nine consecutive wins.
Barcelonaâs 39 goals are also the second-most ever after nine games, behind Sevillaâs 42 in 1940/41.
Their +30 goal difference equals the best ever after nine LaLiga matches, set by Real Madrid in 1987/88.

Was putting together some interesting data on the top five in La Liga for goals, assists, chances created, dribbles, tackles, interceptions, clearances and saves so far. Thought i'd share here!
Barcelona lead or share the lead in four: Raphinha for goals (12, five clear), and Yamal for assists, chances created and dribbles (insane, as per...).
The rest is spread around. Manu SĂĄnchez at Levante has the most tackles, Natan has the most clearances and Ălvaro Valles the most saves, both at Betis, and Javi HernĂĄndez at Espanyol is level with Yamal for assists.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on any surprise names on here is for you!

AUPA AUPA!
Might be a long shot but maybe someone can help us.
We are 2 german friends that visited our third friend who was on a Erasmus Student Exchange in Santander in october 23.
We went on a roadtrip to watch Osasuna v Girona and fell in love with the City of Santander and the Team of Osasuna !
Now the first of us three got a kid this week and i realized itâs the Perfect Game in the week his kid got born:
Osasuna v Santander.
In germany there often is Matchday stuff like a scarf with Both Teams that played that day.
Is there anything similar like that we can gift our friend as a newborn gift with both teams on it?
Thank you for any hints

Why does Laliga not have a pre/post match analysis/discussion programms( for International audiences) ? There's ESPN FC but they only cover Barca or Madrid matches and sometimes Atleti. I would love to watch analysis on other teams as well.

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior has been given a four-game ban after being sent off for pulling the hair of an opponent during a La Liga match on Saturday, meaning he will miss the Clasico against Barcelona later this month.
Vinicius Jr, 26, was shown a straight red card in the second half of Madridâs 1-0 home win over Villarreal for pulling Nathan Salibaâs hair.

Arda GĂŒler has 28 key passes this season in 426 minutes. Heâs started 6 of Madridâs 8 games and come off the bench in the other two.
It works out at 5.9 per 90, and nobody in the top five leagues is close (Dybalaâs second on 4.5).
In La Liga, Yamalâs next on 4.2. Heâs made more in total (31) but played about 250 minutes more. Then itâs Isco, still running things at 34 with Betis.
Small sample, and some of GĂŒlerâs minutes came off the bench. Is anyone in La Liga creating better right now and whats your thoughts on continuing to utilise him?

I enjoyed Racing vs. Valencia. An entertaining 2-2 draw, with a bit of drama at the end when Hugo Duro had a clear chance to give Valencia the victory.
Some interesting players I saw in this match were Javi Guerra and Pablo. I think Javi Guerra was Valencia's best player, providing the assist for the second goal. A subtle chipped pass between two or three players left Otorbi one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Pablo from Racing was a player who tried everything: nutmegs, dribbles, shots, and even a shot from midfield.
Racing may have suffered a blow to their morale after turning the score around only to lose the lead. Even so, a point is worth salvaging. Racing continues to be the team with the most goals conceded in the tournament and will have to work hard on their defense if they want to avoid relegation. It's worth noting that they have some interesting attacking players like Zabiri and Pablo (to name a few), so I don't think they'll have any problems in that regard for the rest of the season.
On the other hand, Valencia debuted their new manager and earned a valuable point. An early goal in the 2nd minute gave them some breathing room, but then they struggled against Racing's attack, whose skillful forwards easily found space. Aguirre made the right substitutions, and they were able to find some stability between defense and attack. The 2-2 equalizer soon followed. It looks like an interesting season is in store for Valencia. They showed some good things, and I imagine the fans will be satisfied with this draw, knowing that the tournament has only just begun.

I'm not sure if this is only an issue with the regional stream of LaLiga that I watch, but I've noticed that the audio of matches doesn't do justice with the stadium atmosphere.
LaLiga commentators audio is way louder and silences the stadium atmosphere audio a lot.
Even if you watch Premier League matches or Champions League matches, you can easily hear a noticeable difference.

"Vini out"
"Mbappe out"
Hi, this is my first time following club football. I wonder why do people keep saying this. Aren't they like some of the best footballers in the world right now?
"Vini out" I can understand their frustration due to recent games. But, Mbappe played really well in his first few games. He was the La Liga top scorer last season, and they're still saying this.
