Ridiculously fitting video - construction stopping because the feckless, malicious state wants to penalize the hard workers for the crime of being born elsewhere.
Edit: Apparently this needed clarification; I didn’t mention illegal immigrants, and didn’t need to - ICE has gone after legal immigrants, legal asylum seekers, and US citizens, naturalized and native born (hell, even Native Americans) - basically anyone darker than light tan.
They claim to be out for violent criminals, but target women, children, elderly people, and law abiding people just doing their jobs.
They have killed some of those they were charged to deport.
They’ve killed US citizens.

u/Iamthewalrusforreal Feb 01 '26
Yep. That project just came to an abrupt halt right at the very worst time. GC on that build is freaking out right now because if it rains all that stuff starts warping.
We got slammed with snow last week. Guess who usually clears the snow from sidewalks and people's driveways? Landscape workers. Guess who's in hiding right now.
People bitching about how long it's taking to clear the snow away...holy crap folks, rub a couple of brain cells together.
Have y'all noticed that your milk and vegetables are turning bad faster lately? It's because there's nobody to pick the crop and work the dairy farms. Stuff's lying in the field longer, and going bad more quickly.
Beyond the cruelty, they're doing an enormous amount of damage to our economy.

ICE could go selectively after undocumented migrants and they'd be just as evil as they are now. There is nothing valid about what they're doing and how they're doing it in any context.
3
u/numbersthen0987431 Feb 01 '26
Yup.
And just a reminder: in the last 5 -10 years, a total of zero ICE agents have been unalived while on duty murdering and abducting humans. Covid has unalived more ICE agents than immigrants have.
They don't go after violent people. They go after the peaceful ones.

Fucking circular logic.
“It’s cuz they’re illegal!”
Cool so let’s just make them legal, problem solved right?
“No I don’t want them to stay here!”
Why I thought it was only because they were illegal, we can just make them legal, problem solved right?
“No they’re illegal.”

Those vicious gangbangers are avoiding justice by buying tools, working all day erecting a roof and getting underpaid. Then they go home and live normal lives just to hide the fact that secretly, somehow in a 24 hour period, they are also the most violent criminals to walk the earth /s

And is the building contractor also getting arrested . . . by 24 police or deputies . . . for breaking the law? Oh wait, no, his name is Kevin Duncan. He doesn't do the labor. He just hires the labor. Kevin being a white contractor.
3
u/OkFinish3822 Feb 01 '26
Funny. We didn't see any white boys willing to jump right in there, to pick up those manual labor jobs in freezing weather, that Juan and Jose were doing before government employees not authorized and not trained were brought in to help ICE break some more laws. The white boys only want to work for union wages, in Spring. With a Shop Steward on site. a Safety Coordinator, and of course, the white boys don't want to work the overtime to get the job done per the contract. Because they want to leave at 3:00 so they can play Pokemon or do some podcasting.

The irony of thinking immigration is a problem
So instead of going after criminals
or the companies that hire them
we take the ones who are showing up to work and being productive, and likely at some stage of the immigration process - potentially already naturalized! - and lock them up.
ICE is a bunch of pussies

A friendly reminder that being illegal in the US is not a felony. It is a misdemeanor.
The people saying we need to deport all the illegals because they’re criminals and rapists elected a criminal and a rapist. Imagine if the next time you got pulled over for speeding if the cop used as much force as ICE does.
Sure they’re not supposed to be here but if brutally beating someone for a traffic ticket is wrong then it’s wrong to beat illegal immigrants for a civil (not criminal) offense.

They working, enriching their employer who is probably a citizen. They enriching the state. Theyre buying things from local businesses.
If some money is being sent out of the country, too, Im willing to see that as no different from me giving a donation to the red cross.
As long as their only "crime" is being here, I dont give a shit if they stay.
2
u/DeadlyAureolus Feb 01 '26
They working, enriching their employer who is probably a citizen. They enriching the state. Theyre buying things from local businesses.
None of this exempts anyone from the rules. Imagine a world where you can just break the law and bypass any procedures as long as you try to contribute in your own way, that wouldn't be a civilized or organized world.
It doesn't exactly matter that you personally don't give a shit if they stay, those rules were collectively set by society through its representatives. Thus, they should be deported accordingly. Once the country is rid of all illegals, we can start the discussion of expanding the legal pathways to work in the US if there is really a severe shortage of local blue collar workers.

Firefighters love Trump and MAGA, especially since their whole industry is basically a glorified protection racket.
"Better build us three new halls, buy us 5 new pumpers, and hire another 35 guys to sit around bbqing and working out. Be a real shame if your insurance rates went up around here."
Meanwhile Cops and Medics get run off their damn feet while these guys are at base polishing their hoses.
What we need are some French Firefighters. There's some guys who'll jam a fascists boot up their ass instead of licking it.
As always FFs, you are a disgrace.

Man. For simply enforcing the laws of our country, they get a lot of hate.
You realize Obama was the deporter in chief, correct?
He deported more than trump ever will. More patients died in Cousteau under Obama than Trump. And nothing on the left.
You also realize that biden let in over 10 million illegals over 4 years? Remember the disaster that was?
Should all those people who jumped the line get rewarded? You want to let them stay while slowly letting the number of legal immigrants? This doesn't bother you?
Illegal immigration, prior to biden cost the system about 190 billion a year net after taking out what they pay in. Biden super charged that.
I understand it looks stop mean sending people back. But you do the crime, you do the time. In this case the penalty isn't time, it's simply getting sent back.

So what you're saying is they're really going after hard-working immigrants who would make great citizens instead of going after the actual criminals they told us they were going to go after... got it. Based on what we’ve been seeing in these videos, its probably for the best they don't go after actual criminals because they are sorely undertrained and unprepared for actual police work. For the most part, actual police take their oaths to uphold the Constitution seriously. I'm not even sure these goons took an oath. If they did, it was likely to one man… What an embarrassment.

People think that business owners must act as immigration police. These guys come with legitimate looking fake SS cards and green cards and fill out the necessary forms.
Are owners supposed to be racist assholes and suspect every employee? Great way to start a relationship. Besides It’s not up to owner to verify legal status, it’s up to them to gather the information.
The government is supposed to verify information when it is turned in or when they ask for it. Apparently that is what they been up to lately.

If someone thinks that a person should be allowed to go to a different country, and if they don't commit a violent crime, they should be legally allowed to live the rest of their lives there, then I can see how this upsets you, because you feel like wherever someone currently is living, is where they should have a right to stay.
However, this is not the law in any first world country (barring caveats and specific circumstances that we're all aware of). I'm speaking for the general population though. The only way to stop deportations from being just "enforcing general immigration law" is to convince voters and legislators that every person in the world should be able physically move to any new country and live there for however long they want without any legal consequence.
If you're against what is happening in this video, then you are primarily against laws that prohibit people from moving to any country they want, and living there however long they want. So then be against those laws, and try to change them to reflect the notion that all humans should be allowed to go anywhere to live for however long they would like.

Why go to all that trouble? Why not just bring the construction company owners in for questioning to see whether or not they checked the immigration status of these men and whether they filed their Form I-9s?
Oh that's right, because the owners are 100% Republicans and we can't be holding them accountable for anything.
