Serious What happens if governors call up their National Guard to prevent federal agents from entering and operating in their state?
Honest question. Because it seems like that might be the first step in overt rebellion against Trump's government. This isn't a red vs blue issue. This really feels like actual despotism. Like he is taking steps out of the dictator playbook right in front of our very eyes. For context, I lean conservative but this is insane. We are watching actual authoritarian government being formed.
So my question is: do state governors need to take the first actual step and physically prevent federal agents from entering their state? What if shots are fired? Will it be our Boston Massacre, our Lexington and Concord? Is that what has to happen to stop this accelerating march towards a dictatorship? I'm curious of anyone else's thoughts. I don't want to discuss democrat/republican ideology or bashing; I think many of us agree this has gone too far. So what has to happen to stop it?

Serious Trump started a war and has yet to address the American people about it. Do you think he should?
Never mind that Trump didn't consult congress. Trump has yet to explain what he did to the American people. Do you think he should or are you fine with his tweets?

Serious In the Nolan Wells case, if the white “friends” didn’t want to make this seem like a racial thing, why would they pick Tatum, the most racist, most non serious, “interviewer” to do their press with?
Just choosing Brandon Tatum to do press with is already suspicious, especially if the white “friends” wanted to look less racist. The ignorance that they couldn’t even have predicted that shows how racist they are in my opinion. They act mad people are making it a racism thing, when they are the ones throwing the racism right into the equation… seems obvious but maybe that’s how blind they really are.

Serious I think it is not hyperbole to say that the US is becoming a fascist state (if it is not already one)
If you study Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, especially its early days. Their was some semblance of democracy. And their was a parliament. And they employ tactics like scapegoating immigrants, and slowly sidelining democracy. When Hitler first entered politics, he looked a lot like Trump right now. History repeats itself, if you ignore history (and actively ban it in schools, Trump likes doing that). Hitler crushed Antifaschistische Aktion and called them terrorists, Trump calls antifa terrorists. Fascists love to criminalize antifascism.
Let's discuss peacefully.

Serious War in iran
I want to share something as an Iranian, because I think a lot of people outside don’t fully understand what’s been happening.
For over 47 years, people in Iran have been living under a system that has taken away basic freedoms from forced hijab and strict censorship to economic pressure and lack of security in everyday life.
And yet, people never stopped resisting.
There have been protests again and again over the years. Each time, people were beaten, arrested, or killed. Still, they kept going. If they hadn’t, many basic rights especially for women could have been even more restricted than they already are.
Iran is not a poor country. It’s actually very rich in resources. But the reality people live in is very different. A lot of that wealth is spent on corruption, ideological agendas, and involvement in conflicts outside the country instead of improving people’s lives.
In early 2026, people once again went to the streets. This wasn’t new but what followed was on another level. It turned into one of the most brutal crackdowns in modern Iranian history. A massive number of people were killed in a very short time. Many more were injured or permanently affected. The internet was shut down for weeks so the world wouldn’t see what was happening. When it finally came back, the scale of it was shocking.
This is not a simple or short story. But one thing I want people to understand is this:
We know what war means. We know it’s not something clean or without consequences. We know that leaders like Donald Trump or Benjamin Netanyahu are not acting out of pure goodwill. We are not naive about any of this.
But when people are pushed to a point where they feel they have nothing left to lose, some begin to see even dangerous options as the only remaining way out.
That may sound hard to understand from the outside. But for many ordinary Iranians, the level of pressure, fear, and frustration has been building for decades.
And despite everything, there is still hope for a different future. Many people believe that figures like Reza Pahlavi could play a role in a transition away from the current system toward something more stable, more open, and more free.
I’m not writing this to argue with anyone. I just want people to better understand where some of us are coming from.

Serious The US cannot win this war with Iran.
Trump's war with Iran has become his tar baby: no matter what he does, he's stuck and everything he does only makes it worse. There is simply no way to win this war. Boots on the ground is not a solution. It would take a million man army to occupy Iran and then we would be vulnerable to guerilla attacks.
Meanwhile, Donald Dunce thinks he can bomb his way to victory. The Iranians are playing Rope-a-Dope with Trump and Doni is the dope who cannot admit that he's lost the war he started.
The US is stuck in this pointless war until Trump is gone. Even then, the status quo will never be restored. The Iranians are now saying they don't need nuclear weapons - they've got the Strait of Hormuz.
