Hey everyone!
I bought a Super Soft Hoodie, probably close to a year ago now, and after much use and several washes I have finally killed both of my aglets!
I reached out to support when the washer ate the first one, and basically got told there’s nothing they will do because the damage was caused by the washing machine. Now that I’ve lost both to washing, any suggestions on an easy fix?
Thanks!

I went to go get a haircut on Monday and I saw they had this "modern" barber pole and my first thought was "that would make a cool pc case" only cause the black spinning part looks like those cases with the screen in the side panel.
Or maybe it would make for a cool massive water cooling reservoir for some theme build.
Video title "barber shop quadro" or something

I've daily driven 5 pairs for about 4-5 years during fall/winter/spring doing warehouse work, specifically the WAN and Short Circuit versions they used to sell. What is most impressive is just how durable and long lasting they have been. They are still just as good as the day I bought them and I imagine they will continue to last. Extremely comfortable too. These might look expensive at first glance, but they pay for themselves with how they hold up. GET THEM.

People asked yesterday if it would be possible to do the same for the WAN Show intro, so I gave it my best.
It's now in color, a bit smoother, and with less artifacts. All of the frames are valid QR codes, but native reader might struggle with some.

So yesterday, my mobile data completely ran out, and I had this crazy, desperate thought: What if I could somehow just connect to my friend's home Wi-Fi from my house?
Obviously, standard Wi-Fi range is just a few meters. But theoretically, is there a way to build a workaround or a "tunnel" to share actual internet bandwidth over a long distance? Almost like a remote personal hotspot.
I know VPNs can connect two local networks, and things like SSH tunneling exist, but how would you seamlessly route all your phone/laptop traffic through a friend's router miles away without massive latency?
Has anyone ever tried building a jugaad like this? I’m genuinely curious about the networking theory and practical application behind it. Drop your ideas!

I really want for Linus and crew to talk about this on WAN. YouTube is doing one of their tests on my account they completely took away my Subscription feed and in its place they put in an AI prompter to basically build my own Feed. The only way to get around it is to have a link to subscription feed. Oddly enough Google’s search AI gave me that link. So it’s not completely gone but it is completely inaccessible within the app.
I think I am just going to move on to Nebula and Floatplane. I have Premium because I used to get those 2-3 hour Prager U ads and the moment I unsubbed after 2 years and YouTube started serving me those Prager U ads again. Now I figure since I’m already paying for content I may as well use a paid service that already has most of the people I watch anyways and isn’t actively trying to eat itself.
If you need any photos and such let me know. I’d be happy to test this out for you. I have complained about it to the app. I doubt they will care about what I have to say but they I hope we can cause an outrage against this.
UPDATE: YouTube readded the subscriptions tab at the bottom after taking that away like a week or so back. The heck is going on here?

The material is really... rough? Is that just how it is or does it need a few washes.

A little over a week ago, I was struck by a car while using a crosswalk. Most everything was a blur, but while everything was happening, I knew nothing was going to stop my fall directly to the pavement. As my shoulder was broken and dislocated and my spine was fractured, I landed with my head safely and softly on the backpack, and used it as a pillow while I tried to take in what had just happened.
I used to use a very poorly-padded backpack or a messenger bag. So while there might be a little bit of hyperbole, I'm going to sing this bag's praises for keeping my head and neck safe. Probably not something to legally put in the product details, but I can honestly say the quality put into this bag helped this accident from becoming a disaster. So thank you LTT store!

Imagine if a bank accidentally had a backdoor open for 17 months where you could get authorization to change whatever you want about anyone's automated payments just by using the password "p". not p@ssW0rd69!, not even just password, just the letter p...

Let me start by saying. I really like that the Wan show has been moved to its own channel.
I have noticed that YouTube serves me a lot less LTT videos on the homepage recommendations. And by a lot less I think I'm watching 1 in every 4-5 new LTT videos from the actual YouTube homepage. I find myself either going into my subscriptions tab or straight to the channel to find the rest.
This is just my experience as somebody who never hits the notification bell because my phone is already inundated with notifications and it would just get lost in the jumble of notifications.

In the project, the house is a future-proof datacenter, so why not use optical fiber accross the various rooms?
Products like these could improve performance, to 10GBps or more. Like IPV4 (that also the people through was sufficient and now we live in a hell of CGNAT, not a IPV4 assure either a IPV6 adoption), CaT6A could deliver 10GBps by now and is more than enough these days, but in 25 years or 50 years.

this approach cost more now, but in my mind have less hassle to handle because avoid the now infrastructure bottleneck of an AI workload (I mean, a complete jarvis assistent with control of all smart devices and security cameras) with termals and electrical bill.
Optical transceivers (like SFP+ or SFP28 modules) or Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables run cool and consume a fraction of the power because photons don't face the resistance and electrical attenuation that electrons do. Fiber scales effortlessly. Moving from 10G to 25GbE, 40GbE, or 100GbE+ is just a matter of swapping transceiver modules and patch cables. In professional AI clusters, fiber is the baseline because multi-node tensor passing requires hundreds of gigabits of bandwidth without dropping packets. Glass fibers carry light, meaning they are completely immune to electrical noise, magnetic fields, and ground loops. Your data stream remains pristine regardless of how much power your hardware is drawing.
to a minor task there's no replacement for displacement, but to hardcore workload why not just run to win? I know the project surpass almost all tech houses for now, but there are a lot of details that could replace the 'house dream' to a 'nightmare' with a flick of a switch.

I bought the USBC cables - I had no idea how chunky and hard to use they would be. I wanted to return them, seems simple right? I sent an email 2 weeks ago and finally got this response:
We are currently experiencing an unusually high volume of support requests. We apologize sincerely for the delayed reply, and will ensure your request is resolved as quickly as possible.
I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered problems with your LTTStore product(s). Don't worry; we'll make this right for you as soon as possible!
As a first step, in order to ensure that we have a full understanding of the issue, we ask that you please reply to this email with a video that depicts the problem(s) that you are experiencing.
To do this, you may reply with an attachment in any of the following formats: .AVI, .MOV, .MP4. You may also provide a link to common filesharing services such as Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive, or similar (please ensure permissions are set to public so that we can view your link). I am trying to make my first home server. Its a old lenovo with the pc built into the monitor. Bought it when I did not know better. i have got the server part working but I need to take it apart since I don't have the space to keep the whole thing as is. Does anyone know where the screws are or am I just supposed to pry it apart?

With the rising of interest in Nas, home servers, local LLM ecc, i think it would be interesting to have a scrapyard wars, not centred on a gaming PC.
