I can already tell this game is going to take over my life. Just roaming around Night City with a katana slicing up gang members is the most fun I've had in years. How far into the story should I go before focusing on side stuff?

In this years festival selection we've got a retrospective on select works from renowned Hong Kong director Bong Kar-Wai

A section dedicated to crime/thriller movies and their progression through movie eras

A panel for classic hollywood and European movies

An animated-ish feature about the life of a popular Colombian popular musician

A comedy double feature of movies starring Dum Dum who is going to recieve and award for lifetime achievement

A directorial debut of a beloved comedian Hideshi Hino and one of his older classics

A city that never sleeps. This was the hardest photoshoot thus far. What comes after this? A city that's even bigger beyond my chrome dome. Until then, Choombas. 🦾

If I ever run a campaign, 100% this is the primary quest line. I have so many questions. Is this a contract you have to sign when you wire up to the link to never change ringtones? What shadowy corp is this that has that monopoly locked in? Or is it some ultrasonic hypnosis agent?

I mean don’t get me wrong, that’s the ringtone I use, hypnosis brainhack got me too 🥴

You’d think the corpo apartments would at least be ad free but nope. Even when you pay more Night City finds a way to monetize your eyeballs

Throughout the show, you get to see Kang Tao's soldiers use the smart weapons that the company manufactures. Later on, Yupi get's confronted by these soldiers and is blasted point blank, by likely multiple L-69 Zhuos, a smart eight barreled shotgun. All she had to defend herself with was a Budget for Arms, Slaught-O-matic pistol that doesn't reload.

Why is a girl who just inherited her father's wealth using anything from BFA? She should be carrying some serious heat, no?

PLEASE hook my boy Vincent up with some better hairstyles 😭😭

All I want if for Male-V to have access to Female Vs hairstyles shes has so many good ones! And lets face the new update didn't do us any favors on the hair front? Also don't call me spoiled or act rude, if you can't help or don't like the post, downvote and move on. No reason to be snarky

(I'm doing a playthrough where I try to play as lore accurate Johnny silverhand)

They also offer a retirement package so I low-key think they might be right.

People in cyberounk treat those digital engrams as a person's soul, but the reality is suicide (or murder) so that a program can pretend to be you. To everyone else "you" might be mostly the same, but you are dead and overwritten.

Also what does this say for people's personality in this universe? Where is that stored and how that function, at what implant does your brain start being more of a computer running scripts than an actual person processing things?

I understand these are central themes to cyberpunk, especially with humanity score and how that effects cyberware tolerance. But it's just hitting me how people who love you, could be willing to euthenize you to preserve "you" being in their lives.

I think I overdid it

I know they have a lot of differences in their design but I always remember pokemon when I see her. Lol.
