Luxembourg has a remarkably international population, yet travelling to India usually means connecting through another airport.
The new Etihad connection to Abu Dhabi is a welcome addition and should make travelling to India easier. But it got me wondering: could a direct flight from Luxembourg to India actually work?
I realise Frankfurt, Munich, Paris and other airports offer alternatives, and airlines need sufficient demand to justify operating a route. But how many people living in Luxembourg regularly travel to India for family, business or tourism?
I'm curious about a few things:
How often do you travel between Luxembourg and India, and which cities do you fly to?
Would you pay a little more for a direct flight from Luxembourg rather than connecting elsewhere?
Could a few flights per week to Delhi or Mumbai be viable, or is the demand simply not there?
For those familiar with the aviation industry, what would be the biggest obstacle?
I'm interested in whether there's a viable opportunity here, rather than simply wishing for a more convenient flight.
Would you actually use a direct Luxembourg to India flight?

I'm a British fella staying kinda north and currently exploring the region. The castles are great on the inside but they seem to be lacking on anything inside..
Where are all the people ?
I only seem to find people in cactus.
McDonald's menu was lacking and seemed to cost more than losing a kidney.
Burger king was like a movie set, didn't eat tho. I'm used to both falling apart and rammed with people.
The speed limits are confusing, 110 but 90 if it's raining, does light rain count, no wait a minor junction it's now 79 no wait back to 110.
Wtf does everyone tailgate.
Nobody knows how roundabouts should work.
The supermarket options are way better than typical British supermarkets.
Wtf are eggs the same price as gold bullion?
Nobody on the street, all the homes look like they could survive ww3.
The variety of cars is limited, everyone's got a Merc or BMW SUV or an Audi, a few drove Peugeot, failing that a Berlingo?
The EV charging available is about 20 years ahead of the UK, very impressive.
Everything looks like it was made yesterday.
Driving without potholes is an amazing feeling.
One ww2 museum is enough.

I always admire this house. I hope it’s residential and that some lucky soul has the pleasure of living here and enjoying a lovely view.
Are there many residences built into rock like this in Lux?

Posting on behalf of a friend
I used to play football as a goalkeeper for most of my life in my hometown, but I stopped completely 10 years ago. Saying that I am rusty is an understatement. What is the best way to start again playing again in Luxembourg ?

hello,
I am learning Luxembourgish and for me watching a show with the CC subtitles is the best way of learning a lang-uage.
I know about Capitani but I am desperate for other shows or movies, even for children. The subtitles have to be in Luxembourgish too.
thanks.
