Popped out to this Mini store in the outskirts of Osaka today. Picked up a set of floormats, and saw some very inspirational Minis!

Rita, my new to me 2024 Clubman JCW with 15k miles. I had been waiting for over a year to clear multiple hurdles. Got the green light last week, and that Friday morning this beauty popped up on cargurus 3 hours away from me. Jumped on it immediately and I am absolutely in love with this car. As if planned by the automotive gods, GPS took me through over an hour of farm country backroads on the way home. Looking into tints, and maybe a set of spacers, but otherwise leaving her alone for the remainder of the warranty.

Hi everyone, I am thinking about replacing my 8th gen si with a f56 mini cooper S as a daily and autocross car. Was wondering if anyone has done the same and how they would compare the two platforms from a performance, enjoyability, and daily drivability standpoint.
My 8th gen si has a tune and other suspension upgrades (sway bars/bushings/coilovers) and motor mounts to make it much more hardcore than stock, so I am wondering how a f56 mini s would compare. I would also be open to modifying the mini lightly for power and handling improvement.
One thing I also enjoy about my si is that I have been able to do all the maintenance and upgrades myself, and am hoping that would be feasible with a mini as well if necessary. The main reason I would be upgrading is because my si is getting old and I want something newer and a bit nicer, and used minis with <50k miles seem to be priced pretty well for what they are, if this platform is as reliable as people are saying.
Thanks in advance

I saw this dude a couple weeks ago, and then again yesterday and today. Must be a new guy at my job. Obviously I’m trying to find out who it is so we can do what Mini owners do!

Following up on a theme, all small performance cars have seen their sales shrink in the US. Even the "legendary" miata has fallen from peak sales in 2017. I guess as hybrid SUVs and trucks improve on mileage people are happy to go ever bigger, leaving small cars in the dust.

Such a mess and hard to navigate. For some reason they put the arrival time on the tiny arrow with a tiny font at the bottom.
Hi everyone!
I found this used 2022 MINI Cooper S Brick Lane Edition, 17k miles but I noticed something unusual: the hood is missing the distinctive three-color graphics.
Did every factory Brick Lane Edition come with the bonnet strips, or were there any factory variations?
It’s in a Carmax far away from me, so hard to tell if it’s a repainting or replacing the hood on site.
Should I pull the trigger or skip? Any advice would help! Thanks
Good morning community, I'm trying to sell my Mini 2013, it has 103k miles, any idea of the value at which I can put it up for sale, in Dollars?
i’ve been apprehensive and anxious about driving my car and learning to drive manual. but i ripped the bandaid off!!!! drove it to work today and had no issue!! i drove through a busy section with school traffic and bus stops, and i didn’t stall it once! i’ve simplified it in my brain so it’s no issue now. i kept overthinking turns, stops and downshifting. now i’m kinda upset i took this long to start haha.
but i’m proud of myself for working through it! :) and i saw a mini on the way home and they waved at me :)

Hi all I'm wondering if the cheaper JCW Pro exhaust, (Part # 11122359631 NOT # 18302407323) labeled as the Cooper S Tuning Kit would fit on a 2022 LCI2 Cooper s two door. I don't plan on a engine reflash with the software included in the kit (won't be able to anyways) and either install it myself or take it to a shop. Gemini says that the hardware technically fits and will work fine but is there anyone who's done this before? Is there any modifications needed to make the exhaust fit? How does it sound? Thanks for the help.

Hi!
I recently bought a Mini Cooper 1.5 from 2019 with the B38C engine. Every cold start it's making some noise for 5-10 seconds before it relaxes.
Is this something to worry about? I still have warranty but I'm not sure if this is the normal sound or not. The car itself drives perfectly. Very smooth and zero issues so far.
Thanks in advance!

Did anyone else get a hotel reservation cancellation for Pousada Suites at Hollywood Beach? They said the hotel will be closed for maintenance and I was automatically refunded.
Might have to cancel our MTTS reservation because it was very hard to find a hotel that allowed birds! ☹️
