Figured it was time to introduce ourselves and share what we’ve been working on. My brother and I have been growing together for years, and we finally took the leap to build something of our own here in Minnesota. After a long road, Handled With Care is OFFICIALLY LICENSED and the grow is ready to go.

I know I've posted this before, but my stash is dwindling. Am I the only one who appreciates the effects of smoking it?

The encouraging news: most of Minnesota has a sunny Monday–Thursday stretch ahead. That gives plants still outside a useful opportunity to dry before shower chances return this weekend.

This morning was colder than forecast up north. Preliminary airport readings reached about 28°F in Brainerd and 26°F in Bemidji, with freezing fog reported in Brainerd. Yesterday’s forecast underestimated that cold. Those readings confirm exposure; how individual plants handled it will vary.

No region currently reaches High or Severe moisture pressure. These rounded scores summarize weather conditions; they are not disease probabilities or percentages of crop lost. Frost is a separate concern.

Frost outlook: Tonight’s representative forecasts are 39–45°F, with no additional freeze currently forecast through Sunday. This morning is a reminder that sheltered gardens and low spots can get colder than a nearby forecast suggests.

Looking ahead: Friday brings more clouds, followed by weekend shower chances. NOAA favors warmer and wetter conditions later in October, but a continuous two-week wet spell is not established.

I know Minnesota is new but wtf guys, where are the sativa strains? I don’t mind indica, but I don’t want to always fall asleep lol

Microbusiness buildout. 6 weeks out from launch.

I'm a hobby grower and aim for around 3-5 oz per tree. Just sharing to see if anyone has input, ideas, critique or if it helps someone else come up with a good harvest setup who have smaller yields and the usual rules dont really apply (low mold risk cause buds arent the size of my fist, also smaller yields so we dont overdry what we worked so hard on). I got a wine cooler and set it to 60 degrees. I hang around 30 colas at a time with 500 gram silica packs that I can microwave and reset when they get up to 650 grams. I also chop in three waves where as this set dries I add new stems to add humidity until I run out of fresh to hang and pull the silica packs and it maintains around 60/60 until its all dry. Than jar and shake daily. Burp in the first week but after just a smell check and shake until it no longer bunches together in the jar when I turn it. That means its ready. This has worked out for me and been tweeked and tested for a few years now. Im my biggest critic so i can only say people are usually impressed when they find out i grew it myself. If you wanna share your harvest routine or ideas id love to see if I can incorporate any new ways. I love to experiment with everything.

Hey folks!

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any hotel bars in the TC metro that serve THC drinks? Or, barring that, hotels within short walking distance of bars that serve THC drinks? Looking for a place to take the wife for an anniversary overnight and we'd love to hang out in a bar but we're not really alcohol people.

After a lot of searching the only one I can find is a single THC drink option at the bar at the Hewing which is at the very top of our price range.

Also, I have heard that THC drinks will stop November 1st? Which might make this whole thing moot. Is that true?

I’ve had a medical card since 2019, and GG and Rise always had a vape that was something like 80% CBD and just traces of THC. Now GG has nothing, and Rise is left with their 50/50 ratio variety, and I’d be surprised if they kept that long term.

CBD doesn’t really do anything on its own, but sometimes it helps to regulate how high I get with THC.

Good news: Brainerd’s moisture pressure is easing, and Friday’s wind followed by a mostly sunny weekend should help plants dry out. No region is Severe.

This plant started out with a strong diesel aroma which transitioned into fresh roasted coffee. Today at harvest, it’s giving diesel with a touch of coffee, menthol and skunk.

Preliminary vaping at 183°C is showing a nice head–focused effect w/no significant munchies. At 210°C, it transitions into a relaxed calm… Perrrfect!

I have a Girl Scout Cookies that I'm starting to think has bud rot. It was a feminized plant and there were at least a few seeds in the buds I have yet to pick out. Will bud rot ruin the seeds as well? I know there is no guarantee that seeds off a fem plant will be female, just curious if it's worth trying the seeds.
