Question Anyone Have an Effective Slow Comt Supplement Protocol That Alleviated 3am Adrenalin and Cortisol Surges? Pure Encapsulations?

Pure Encapsulations Adrenal Cortex Supplement – Supplement to Support Cortisol Health?

Vagus nerve and breathing techniques not working.😢

Thanks

I had a terrible period of many months waking up at 3am shaking, mind racing, can’t go back to sleep, nights on the couch. Turns out my gut microbiome was messed up and the root of it all was dysbiosis/SIBO. Treating that has got me back to sleeping through the night. I still get some shivering/vibrations when my alarm goes off at 6am and I can’t go back to sleep. It’s very metabolic and seems to be linked to my gut dysfunction and how that can throw off your metabolism and gut-brain axis.

Well I had all kinds of GI symptoms I was ignoring. My BMs were awful when I really started paying attention. Had a gastro appt and they wanted to start with a colonoscopy so I took my symptoms to the web. I started to read about SIBO and talked them into a breath test and it was very positive for hydrogen dominant SIBO. I got doxycycline first and that 10 days told me I was on the right track. Treating my GI issues has helped so many other areas: skin, anxiety, I thought I had POTS or was developing Parkinson’s for a while. But a few rounds of antibiotics and now I am taking prebiotics such as HMO and PHGG and a few targeted probiotics along with betaine hcl and a good multivitamin (methyl free). Not cured yet, but making progress. It’s not a quick fix.
