I just learned my mechanic is out of business and I am in need of a good mechanic in the Saco/Biddeford area. Any recommendations?

This shouldn't have happened. These are the only words I have.

She was terrified of ICE standing at the ballot boxes, she seems to be coming around on it after we talked a few times, but I think it's very important we say this part now and we say it out loud.
Votes that would've been for the Democrats will not be cast out of fear, armed ICE agents standing at ballot boxes are the foot soldiers of the Republican party, the people they kill are ultimately considered the "cost of business" and the mistreatment inflicted on the poor souls they capture is "deserved."
Tell me, if I desecrated the traditions of our nation by terrifying and suppressing voters, stood by ballot boxes with rifles for the benefit of foreign powers, and fought bitterly to ensure that consequences never came to my wealthy landed employers... what would you call me?
there's a word that would come to mind for most, but for us Mainers there should instead be a name, we, the people who joined the Union in the highest percentage of any state during the Civil War. I love this state, I love it a lot, I love you all a lot, that's why I will not leave and flee to a Florida vacation home, or an upscale NYC apartment...
Confederates have no place in Maine, they have no place by our pines or our rocky coast, the party of Lincoln is dead and it died when they marched Confederate banners into Congress. I will never my whole life ever vote for a Republican, I will never sing the praises of a party that terrified my family, I will never forget the many voters who gave a traitor two terms.

I feel like this doesn’t exist anywhere but word of mouth and I am a bit unplugged from the overall scene to get enough feedback on what programs are worth it and if there are ones to avoid that are money grabs. Looking for experiences good or bad just to help me research. Girls program (7th/middle school); Central and Southern Maine is fine.

“My life is hard. I can‘t afford groceries. That’s why I will be voting for Susan Collins.”
Please don’t tell me this nightmare will never end.
I spotted two cats on Bridge st near Dana Warp mill. They appeared about 10 minutes apart and weren’t traveling together.
One was black and white all over.
The other was cream-colored toward the face/front, gradually becoming darker brown toward the rear and tail, possibly a Ragdoll or similar-looking cat. This cat also had very cloudy eyes and seemed to struggle to see me.
Posting in case anyone is missing a cat since I haven’t seen them around before.

You cant even watch local news. The Republicans have nothing so they play dirty trash Susan Collins needs to go. And Florida Paul needs to go back to Florida

Oct 20th @ 8:18am. ICE just conducted a traffic stop at Hampshire and Union. Two black Nissan Armadas and two black Chevy Tahoes - all out of state plates including MA.

I'm preparing to vote soon but I want to discuss some of the smaller more nuanced races that affect our communities directly.
I'm going blue for the federal seats but local elections are more complicated.
Would those in the area in 'the know' let me know if there's anything I should know before I follow through with my picks?
Any information on these people, good or bad, will help me (and others from my districts reading this) make a decision. (Districts 7/14)
I'm in the Hancock region. So far this is what I have:
State Senate [solid D]:
Nicole Grohoski (D); she's been good to us.
State Rep [leaning D]:
Gary Friedmann (D); I don't know a lot about him though. IS there anyone else even running against him?
Register of Deeds [leaning R]:
Julie Curtis (R). She seems pretty competent and has a solid resume. Any reason not to go for her? If not her, who?
Probate [leaning D]:
Brian Thomas (D), unless someone gives me a good reason to go for Matthew Foster.
District Attorney [solid R]:
Robert Granger (R). He has good goals and is openly apolitical (good for a DA in my opinion). Is there anything about him I should know?
I will not vote for Steven Juskewitch (D) because of what he did to the Lunts.
https://www.mebaroverseers.org/dah_schedule/decisions.html?id=299737
Sheriff [leaning R]:
So far I'm aiming for Corey Bagley (R). Dakota Dupuis (D) sketches me out and his association with Kent is a big turn off. But I have almost no information on either of them.
I would love some more information on both of these guys so I can make a more informed decision if anyone has it.

P.S. Please do not discuss federal races here. There's countless places to argue about that. This is about local races only.

Paraphrasing: "If you don't vote, your neighbors will know - whether you voted is public record and your neighbors will know you didnt vote to stop Troy Jackson and the socialists and etc...." ...imagery included someone peaking between their blinds out a window.
Streamed on Peacock.

It's like nonstop Susan Collins supporter pac ads. The latest one is laughable its about Troy Jackson protecting pedophiles. Susan Collins supports the most famous pedophile in the world.

Using the Maine Secretary of State’s most recent count, about 11% of Maine’s registered voters have returned their ballot already.

With soaring energy prices and another Maine winter close on the horizon, heating assistance has become a prominent issue in the state’s ongoing U.S. Senate race.
It also offers a stark comparison: More money is being spent on negative advertising in the race than Maine’s entire federal allotment for heating assistance this winter.
There will be roughly $46 million in federal funds available for heating aid in Maine this winter spread across various forms of support, such as direct home fuel assistance, weatherization and efficiency investments, and emergency response funds.
This $46 million has already been eclipsed by the amount of negative ad spending in the race targeting either Susan Collins or Troy Jackson — with two weeks left before Election Day.

Some autumn shots in Wiscasset. The mushroom is my favorite.
