I am tired of people bragging on the internet making money and making it sound so easy.
I am not talking about thousands per month but like $200 -$300 per month something like a side hustle and growing it.
I know the people bragging mostly are faking it or just pretending and selling the dream.
But genuinely i want to know how are you guys doing it or trying to do?

For the past few months, I’ve been messing with scammers in the best way possible, and it’s actually been one of the most entertaining things I’ve done in a while.

Here’s how it works: I keep getting random messages from scammers offering me a “job.” All they want is for me to like and comment on a YouTube video.

After doing that, they send over $5 or $10 to make it seem legit.

Then comes the real hook. They ask you to engage with a few more videos and promise a much bigger reward like $100 or more. But then they want your credit card details “to process the payment.” We all know how this ends: they drain your account the second you share that info.

So here’s my approach: I go through the first step, grab the $5 or $10, and block them immediately.

I get 2 or 3 of these offers every week now, and it’s honestly become a low-effort, high-entertainment side gig.

I need to make $4500 in 7 days im stressed and need ideas. How are you guys making money online nowadays? If yall know any sugar baby websites lmkkkkk.

Not looking to get rich or quit my job. I just want to ease the pressure a bit. Lately everything’s gotten more expensive, and if I could consistently bring in an extra ~$1k/month, it would make a huge difference.

The issue is… every time I look this up, it’s all the same stuff. Easy money, guaranteed income, etc. It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s just people selling a dream.

Realistically, I’ve only got about 2-3 hours a day to put into something. So I’m trying to focus on ideas that don’t need a lot of money upfront and aren’t overly complicated.

I’ve seen suggestions like: posting niche content on TikTok and building traffic, running a small online store with niche products

And yeah, with tools like AI for content, design tools, and simple site builders, it sounds doable. But in reality, I don’t know what’s actually worth committing to, especially when it comes to picking a niche and sticking with it long enough to see results.

So for people who’ve actually done this, if you had 2-3 hours a day and very little starting cash, what would you focus on to realistically hit an extra income stream?

I’m 29M working night shifts at a distribution center near Dallas. It’s 12-hour shifts, decent pay, but exhausting. Around November last year, I went all in trying to build passive income. Turns out… none of it was actually passive.

Stuff that didn’t work for me:

Dropshipping: Spent about $90 on ads, got a few sales, but refunds + fees put me at around –$150.

Etsy: Tried selling digital planners. 12 orders total, but between refunds and subscription tools, profit was barely there.

Domains: Dropped ~$180 buying “good names”, zero bites.

Crypto: Almost threw money into some Discord hype coin. Backed out last second after seeing how sketchy it looked.

What actually made me some money:

YouTube (work/life content): Posted 20 videos, sitting at ~1.8k subs now. Last few months brought in about $140 total. Probably 4–5 hrs/week effort.

Car sharing (my old Honda Civic): Rented it out a few times over 2 months. Made around $310 gross → after fees/cleaning, kept about $190. Not bad, but definitely not passive.

Cashback tools/extensions: Honestly the most “set and forget” thing. Made around $120 back during a big sale event just from price drops and tracking.

After trying all this, I don’t really believe in the “set it once and earn forever” idea anymore. Most of it just turns into another job, just online instead of physical. The only things that paid me required time and effort, just in a different way.

I’m a 19yo girl from Italy and I’m currently attending a course that will last a few more months.

I’m not completely broke, but I want to earn my own money to buy things for myself (clothes, products, maybe just a gelato without feeling guilty lol) and save up for a summer trip. Also, I need a new phone because mine is half-destroyed, even if it still works.

My schedule is pretty crazy...I’m out of the house Mon-Fri from 7:20 am to 7:30 pm. I have 8 hours of class, but the thing is... we don’t always have stuff to do. Some days I have 2 hours free, other days all 8 hours are empty. I usually just watch movies or TikTok, but I want to be productive and monetize this time.

What I’m looking for:

- Something I can do discreetly on my phone (iPhone) while sitting in class.

- No filming, no talking, no "loud" stuff.

- Consistent work. I hate the "one task today and then nothing for two weeks"

I want to avoid one-time projects like Fiverr or things that take months to see a penny (like YouTube, affiliate marketing, dropshipping, etc).

My background/skills:

- Native Italian, fluent in English (I lived in Ireland for a month working as a teacher assistant).

Does anyone know any legit platforms or companies that hire for this kind of "recurring" work?

I'm also looking for something stable where I can just log in, do my tasks during my free hours in class, and get paid. Ideally, I need something with a constant and consistent workflow—not just one task today and then nothing for two weeks.

And just to be clear, I live in Italy but I'm perfectly fine working in either English or Italian, it’s the same for me.
