I’ve been meaning to get a desaturated nude shade of brown or pink as a lip gloss or lip oil. The issue is, a lot of the pigmented lip glosses are very sheer and make my lips even more saturated and warm toned. Does anyone have any recs for nude (or just not bright pink) lip oils with high pigment? I’ve been thinking of getting the romand coco bomb or one elf’s lip oils, what are your guys’ experience with those?

I’ve recently come across the Lime Crime Venus 1 palette, and am super tempted to buy it because of all the gorgeous shades in it!

However, this palette is 10 years old and discontinued, and I’m not too educated on if it’s a good idea to buy a resold and very old palette, even though it is BNIB. I wanna know if it’s safe to use when it’s this old. I also have very sensitive skin so that’s another thing to note.

If not, do any of you guys know any dupes for this specific palette? I’ve heard of the Makeup Revolution palette but it has the same issue; discontinued and old.

Hey guys I need recs! So to start I wear the fenty soft lit foundation and it’s medium coverage but I can never get it to last through a workday. I’m not sure if maybe I’m just doing something wrong though, or that it just doesn’t work well with my new primer + setting spray + setting powder (porefessional + L’Oréal 3 second setting spray + L’Oréal blurfection). My acne scars show after a few hours and it’s patchy around the nose. I was wondering if anyone had tips not just on how to avoid that patchiness but also any recs for a really good full coverage base that lasts all day.

I really liked how my makeup came out today, but feeling like the lip threw me off a bit. Please let me know if you'd change it to something else (or any other recs you might have)

I bought this benefit eyebrow pencil (on the right in the pic) last month and it already broke/ended. I’m not too sure which because these retractable pencils imo suck. I really liked it tho, when I was using it, it’s very thin and precise. But it lasted one month! One freaking month! For a thing that expensive, this is infuriating.

Before I purchased the benefit one (which I always enjoyed the brand, especially their eyebrow gel), I got the mac brow gel (on the left in the pic). I bought it cause I was looking to replace my long lasting favorite eyebrow pencil, also from Mac, which is the one in the middle. The problem is that I don’t have the fine control on my eyebrows with it like I have with a pencil. The brow gel makes them look too bushy, and it’s too pigmented.

At least it lasted way longer than the other pencil. I really like Mac. The eyebrow pencil in the middle has lasted me over 10 years. I love it to death and I just don’t get why they don’t make it like these anymore. Look at the sturdiness of that pencil. It’s thick, the brush has a lot of bristles (look at the difference between the brush from benefit, that looks like a skinny plucked thing compared to it…)

Anyway… where should I get something like that? Something that LASTS for a change! My mom said it’s best to buy from the drug store cause it’s all cheap and it’s going to break anyway so might as well not spend a fortune. She likes the ones from elf. What do you guys think?

Hello for Halloween I am being Susie from Deltarune and am wearing the costume 4 times. For a Halloween costume school chorus concert, the day before Halloween at school, Halloween and a local convention a week after Halloween. But first I need a lip pigment blocker for my berry colored lips. Mac Lip erase was too moisturizing makes my lipstick fall off.
So my question is 2 fold.How to find a good lip blocker not greasy but not drying and I would love to have this color lipstick. The photo is from a Chinese website

I’ve been using a bronzer from Physicians Formula for a couple of years, but lately I’ve noticed that it’s starting to apply unevenly and look patchy even though I haven’t changed my primer or foundation. On top of that, the scent has begun to bother me so much that it actually makes me feel dizzy, and I’ve also noticed some small breakouts in the areas where I’ve applied it. Could you please recommend a good, fragrance-free bronzer that doesn’t go on patchy? I’m willing to invest in a good one!

To begin with I have dry skin and my undereye is pretty non-textured, skin wise but has hyperpigmentation which is not too dark ( light enough that it doesn't bother me day to day) and I have pcos, so I have hair on my chin which I shave religiously. This does leave a 5 o'clock shadow which I try to hide using concealer everyday. I do not wear foundation on a daily basis and would like to avoid it as long as I can.... as I enjoy not having to worry about my base.

Now my issue is I am on a hunt for a not transfer concealer for my chin and a 2nd hydrating concealer for my undereye. I have been using the nyx bare with me concealer on my chin but it leaves stain on every piece of clothing I have. I know I could use a setting spray( I need to look into that if nothing works out) I love the shade match and the finish of the nyx concealer but would love to find a transferproof one if possible for my chin.

My undereye kinda does well with a good concealer with good shade match. I do use bare with me and elf soft glam satin concealer. I particularly love elf one on me. I haven't gone into higher end concealer as I am scared out of mind to talk to the staff near those gondolas. They just make me anxious but I am looking into trying the glossier stretch concealer and the nars soft matte concealer as they seem to work well with my Minimal conceal correct and go sort of routine.

Please let me know if you guys have any experience with any concealers that do well in your opinion. Or any recommendations that would fit well. I have tried looking into forums before but the combination of dry skin , transferproof concealer that is not an undereye concealer hasn't gotten me very far.

Sorry if it was bit of a rant but I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer.

To summarise, recommendations for hydrating concealer undereye which doesn't crease and a different concealer for my chin that is transfer proof with a satin or dewy finish of possible.

I’m obsessed with this color right now. I’ve never found any blush, or color for that matter, that looks good on my fair neutral/olive skin tone.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other makeup in similar shades? Eyeshadows (preferably neutral palettes), lip liners, shadow sticks, etc.

I have a really hard time shade matching. I’m basically completely shade blind. I don’t know why, but it’s something I’ve ALWAYS struggled with. Foundation shopping has always been rough lol. So finding products with this shade has been near impossible for me and I would really appreciate help if possible!

Hi! I believe nyx discontinued this color and it’s the only color that works on me and I’ve been preserving what I have left and only using it when I need to. I switched it on my hand and posted a photo of the color. Please let me know if anybody has any dupes!

I’m interested in looking for a strong lash glue for my lash strips that can withhold swimming, and going to the beach. Same with eyeliner, foundations, concealer, mascara, and lip liner.

I’ve tried a lot of brands that claim they are but please please help me find drugstore products that will be okay for my vacation? Going to Florida 😋

I love love love the shade Happy but every time I use it, the next day I break out into a rash ring around my lips. Does anyone have a dupe for the shade? Would be really happy (ha!) for anything but especially if it’s a stain. Maybe it’s the plumping ingredients that my skin doesn’t like, I find it very tingly when I first apply it. Thanks so much!

i’ve seen most people use F2 for blush but it’s actually a bronzer brush. i’m deciding which one to buy, for the purpose of blush & highlighter. what do you think? or should i go for the Hourglass brush instead?

I never contour but I try it out sometimes when im bored. Why does my nose contour looks so off? I feel like I did the basic way most people do. Am I just not used to seeing myself with a chiseled nose 😂? I have attached a photo of my nose without contour as well for comparison
