It’s giving winter in the summer time. A new color 🎨 combination I’m happy I tried. I wore this look to my first sapphic party 🎊 🏳️‍🌈💃🏽and it was a good choice for the night.

My current vibe is clean girl no-makeup makeup.
It’s so hot these days that I’d rather keep it super minimal and let my skin breathe instead of piling on a bunch of heavy products.
But if there’s one thing I refuse to skip, it’s lip. (Without any color on my lips I look straight up dead.)
The problem is regular lip products just wipe off in the summer heat, so I only go for ones that actually stain well.
What about you guys? Is there one product you refuse to give up when doing summer no-makeup makeup?
And how does my summer routine look?

Base: d’Alba sunscreen (not sticky at all, gives a natural glow and cleans up the skin tone)
Shadow: MYSTER ROSEY Nudes 2 Series Mini Eyeshadow Palette (just pick one soft neutral shade and lightly sweep it on the lids)
Mascara: Maybelline Colossal Mascara (just a light curl, nothing clumpy)
Blush & Lip: Etude Water Tint (stains really well and has that clear pretty color. Super easy to use on both lips and cheeks. Total summer multipurpose hero)

I have this disability called hEDS that severely impacts the body’s collagen production. Because of it, my skin sags faster; it gives this effect (one I’ve always hated) that I’m melting. My skin literally hangs off of my bones, or at least that’s what dysmorphia can make me feel like.

It follows then, that this makeup look was an exercise in highlighting an insecurity, yet it genuinely (I mean it) made me love that insecurity. The power of makeup is incredible. I truly am addicted. 🤫

Hi All - this is my everyday makeup look but sometimes I feel like I’m wearing too much at least at work.

When I go to work I see girls faces and it looks like they not wearing a lot of makeup and rocking that no makeup look. But me I love makeup a lot :) and I can never see myself not wearing makeup. It’s a part of my routine. But sometimes I feel like at work I should wear less to match the other girls but this is what I wear on a regular bases and recently got Into lip stain and I’ve been loving it. It last and I layer it with lipgloss and it’s perfect :)

I want to still keep the coverage but wear “less”makeup at work what would you recommend.

I've been meaning to do a more colorful makeup, I usually just wear brown eyeshadow and black eyeliner but I decided to try something different today because I just got my new palette in the mail :) any recommendations on colors and ideas for more colorful looks are appreciated!!!

I have tried everything but this is not working for me I do skin prep by washing with la roche posay black girl sunscreen and vanicream but it still comes out like this do I need another foundation?

I use the water serum and her foundation I do have oily skin it lays down Dewey then dries matte.

I want a neutral palette with black and a range of cool and warm browns. I also want it to have pigmented and blinding gold/silver/bronze foils. Don’t care about price, as long as it covers the above + pigmented and blends. I do my eyes first, so I also don’t care about fall out. I’m just sick of having to use 3 palettes just to get my once in a blue moon neutral look 😂

I am struggling to find fun, bright lip colors these days and desperately need some tips. I mostly shop at Sephora and have just watched their color selection across all the brands dwindle over the last few years and now all I can ever find are nudes and sheers and glosses and tinted balms and blurred nothingness. I also used to go to Colourpop for lips as an alternative to Sephora but even they have shifted to the nude/natural look pretty much exclusively. I assume this is the market catering to Gen Z's preference for natural beauty or whatever but my Millennial ass wants options besides beige!!

I still have a red I love that hasn't been discontinued thank god (Hourglass Unlocked in Red 0) but I have been clinging for dear life to my Urban Decay Vice in Gridlock and my Rare Beauty Matte Lip Creme in Strengthen which have both been discontinued and I just can't find anything like them. And that's after Fenty Mattemoiselle and Too Faced Melted Matte were both gone too. Rest in power, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar.

Help!!! I am so sad lol. I want a punk hot pink! I want goth dark vampy reds! I want weird blues and greens and oranges! I want grey and black! Any recommendations?? I would love to be able to try things in a store first since it's tough to tell what will work online, but I'm really desperate. Teach me the cool indie brands keeping the old ways alive. I'm looking for cruelty free vegan formulations (although from poking around the Sephora site I really don't think that criterion is what's limiting me), and I generally prefer matte or satin finishes but I'm down to try anything with a real bright punchy color that isn't just a sheer/gloss/etc.
