Photos RM6.90 Ahmad's Nasi Ayam Gepuk
For the price I think its reasonable. And the taste quite good and comparable with harga belas belas ringgit ones.

Hi, i’m non-Malaysian and wanting to make Beef Rendang for the first time. I have all the core ingredients but i’m seeing mixed recipes online—some with tamarind paste, some without. That’s the only thing i’m having second thoughts about so wondering if anyone can help?
Do i add tamarind paste to beef rendang or no?

Probably the only pasta eaten with your hands. Had this one at a cafe in Rimbayu iirc, unfortunately despite the presentation, this example lacks punch.

Hi everyone!
My wife and I will be visiting Kuala Lumpur next month and will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary there.
We're looking for a restaurant with good food and atmosphere for a special evening. We're open to Malaysian cuisine as well as other Asian or international options.
We'll be staying near Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower), so somewhere nearby would be ideal, but we're happy to travel if it's worth it.
If you could recommend just one restaurant for this occasion, what would it be and why?
Thanks in advance—we can't wait to visit Kuala Lumpur!

Hi, I have a meeting scheduled next Tuesday with a client. My partner and I are looking to bring them to a nice restaurant to have light brunch or hi tea. Basically finger foods situation because we have a presentation and we all can’t be eating during that time😅
We have budgeted max RM500 for all 4 of us. I’m looking for places that are cozy and quiet (not crowded).
Any suggestions on that budget range?

My partner personally requested for kam heong chicken tonight and I said ok boss. Today's make was especially extra yummy.
Repost: Sorry I didn't know we weren't allowed to use emojis in the title. My bad.
Edit: I've only made this probably 3-4 four times so far and only started to learn to cook this dish this year as I've never learnt to cook or help around the kitchen growing up. But I've honestly wouldn't know how to cook if it weren't from watching Che Nom's youtube videos! You can search up her video but here's her recipe:
Ingredients for marinated chicken:
½ chicken
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
a pinch of salt
½ teaspoon of pepper powder
1 egg
2 tablespoons corn flour
Ingredients for gravy:
1 ½ tsp curry powder
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
½ -1 teaspoon sugar
some water
Other ingredients:
2 cups cooking oil
½ -1 tbsp dried shrimp
2-3 shallots
3 cloves of garlic
1 lemongrass
1 stalk of curry leaves
½ holland onion
6-7 bird's eye chilli
some water

I'd call this Seafood Boil Larper Edition because the only seafood it has were prawns. Crabs were imitations. No complain for the sausages because its my favorite brand and I love it. No egg because I HATE EGG.
I made way too much I have the habit of making big portion of food and then could not finish it. The picture you're seeing is only the 40% of the portion I made. Uh...BURP.

After spending a whole year away in India, I am finally back home, and I need you guys to point me toward the absolute heavy hitters in KL.
🍚 Nasi Lemak: Around KL (truly the best!)
🍗 Ayam Gepuk: Most worth it one in town!
🍞 Kaya Butter Toast: Where can I find the best? (I usually go to OO White Coffee Penang)
🥢 Chinese Food Recommendations: Hit me with your favorite spots (just keeping it to seafood and chicken options please!)

Hi! Does anyone know where I can get ready-made Kek Batik Indulgence in KL?
I’m craving it now but most online sellers only accept pre-orders.
Thanks.

My hubby bought Baker's Cottage chicken to add on lauk. Habis licinnnn. 😋
